The fence works as expected from the product; however, my transmitter went out. It was a fluke, but customer service was prompt, solution focused, and sent a replacement transmitter very quickly after I spoke to them. Guy was the last customer service agent that I spoke with, but every person I spoke with was very polite and professional. I will return to this company for any similar products and needs.

After months of research and reading, I bought the Extreme Dog Fence system. I am really glad I did. The wire shielding is really thick and sturdy. The controller is easy to use and has a lot of flexibility. The setup was straight forward and the tech help was GREAT. Crystal is a customer service agent at Extreme Dog Fence and she was a great help. She was very knowledgeable and had all the answers I needed. We have two German Shepards and this system works very well keeping them in the yard. If you are looking for this type of fencing system this one is really worth considering.

I purchased this system just over a year ago for 3 very active Australian cattle dogs (aka heelers). Our fence covers just over an acre. My husband and I rented a trencher to put the fence in, waste of time and money. All you need is a shovel - one person to make the trench, one to follow and fill back in. It took us about 4 hours total to put the fence in the ground and connect it and it was up and running. Initially I went through the batteries sooner than 3 months due to my dogs testing the fence frequently. I liked that I could set each collar at a different level because each one of my heelers was very individual as to what level they needed. 1 was at 5, 1 was at 2, and 1 was at noise (from the get go). They are all now at the noise level only and respect the boundary. My dogs are also into water and have their own pool. The collars have been completely soaked and had no issue with the function. I like having piece of mind for my pups without installing an above-ground fence. The customer service we have received is bar none! Any question/concern/issue I've had was quickly answered/resolved with no added cost. I had one collar that went bad and it was replaced immediately with no questions asked. I highly recommend this system to anyone!! My dogs enjoy their freedom and I enjoy their safety. Thank you for such an amazing product!

For some reason the warning tone is very very low volume and can’t be raised I thought I had a defect and actually was set the second unit and same issue with low volume tone. I believe the dog can hear it but it makes it difficult to train because you can’t hear the tone I don’t know if the dog is hearing the tone. To me it’s a very major issue that should be corrected.
