This is the most dangerous appliance we have ever owned. The cooktop can turn on by just brushing by the cooktop where the icons are. I burned a cup towel this morning. Did not realize it was turned on. We will get rid of this as soon as I can purchase a new one. We are in a motor home and it could have burned to the ground. Really disappointed. And besides the instructions are written in poor English and no clear instructions.

You don't have to install this cooktop. I keep it tipped up on a shelf taking up next to zero space, and I pull it out when I need those extra stove eyes, or even take it outside on the patio for cooking. It is smooth and easy clean. It heats fast. It has a lot of nice features, and I don't need special cookware for it. I don't know what I'd do without it now.

The seller said "2 Burner Induction Cooktop" and it was actually ceramic/radiant. I'd give it three to four stars as a radiant cooktop but can only give it one due to the incorrect description. Edit: Amazon had them fix the listing. I was unfamiliar with these when I ordered so I was fooled and I'm returning the unit. Amazon support agreed but the product description has remained the same so far. It would be OK for home use though the cool down time of these is extremely long. For example boiling water in a pan for tea with two measured mugs takes about 7 minutes depending on the post used, silver/reflective base induction pots are inefficient vs black coloured ones which absorb radiant heat bettr r. On reaching near boiling however the water will continue to boil for a further 3 minutes with the power off. The timer is is helpful here once you know the overshoot. I can't remember seeing any warning H for still hot either or it's not there long enough so risky with kids about. Looking completely off, a wet cloth will hiss when cleaning it. So would a hand... We can't risk using this in our airbnb as somebody will burn themselves sooner or later I fear. It works OK for the price but NOT induction. It would however be cheaper to buy two single burner units. Not having browsed much and only searching for induction I thought the red element glow in the picture was a light or similar, not an actual heater element.

Grabbed this for our downstairs kitchen. Placed on some marble slabs as we didnt want to cut and drop in and it is working great! Heats up quickly and cooks everything great. My mother uses it alot and she is loving it more than the old small ones she use to use.

I like how this has dual burners rather than one also heats up very fast I use it outdoors and indoors which makes it mobile,with a glass like finish very easy to clean and does not scratch and built with very good quality material . Thank you

I recently bought this Electric cooktop, but the experience of using it is disappointing. It's very slow to heat up, so the cooking will be a time consuming task.. And the surface is difficult to clean and maintain. It easily gets stained.. Anyway i will have to return this item.
