  • Absolutely incredible bike with plenty of power
Color: Black&Red
So I've had this bike for about a month and a half now, about 200 miles, and took it on some real mountain bike trails for the first time today; now that I've taken it everywhere from windy, rocky singletrack to flat and extremely steep paved roads, I can finally write a review. This thing is AWESOME!!! It's my first time ever riding an e-bike, so I wanted something with power that didn't break the bank, and this bike does not disappoint. Lifting up the back tire and twisting to full throttle, it gets up to around 34mph on the speedometer, which is a bit faster than the cruising speed going on flat or a slight downhill. I almost always put it on the 5 power level because my rides are usually less than 15 miles and I ride fast. I'm around 200 lbs, and it maintains speed ~25mph on flat at top gear with pedal assist or coasting on electric. Riding hard at a 20mph average on hilly Pittsburgh terrain, at my weight, I'd say I have a 35 mile range. Someone who weighs less and rides moderately at a 3 power level could easily double that. Going downhill, I usually pedal until I hit 25 and then coast, and like I said I'm in Pittsburgh, so I've gotten up to 51.5mph if the speedometer is to be believed (and I could go faster on a different hill than my local ones)... This bike feels stable at high speeds, much moreso than any 26" bike I used to ride (I'm like 5'11"), and the brakes are decent enough to be safe if you have good awareness and control. Again, most bikers are lighter than me and I assume the brakes and acceleration will be even more impressive to them. The shocks are maybe the weakest link here, but I'm taking it pragmatically as a self-limiter, like "what you can handle with this shock is the level of concussive shock forces the electrical system connections can handle", and I think that's a pretty good way of looking at it to keep both bike and body safe. There have been a few times riding that I've needed to stop and let everything cool down for a moment, so don't panic if that happens. The motor output will suddenly just drop because the circuit is having as much power as possible dumped into it and overheats, so yeah this may not ever even be a problem for you if you aren't riding hard in the sun. Charging is easy, changing a tire and adjusting everything is easy, they even throw in a multi tool which is pretty basic but good to have as a spare. I'd recommend putting everything together with your own tools if you intend to do any real biking, and definitely taking a bit of time to tune the brakes and derailleurs. Listen: I'm a 34 year old man who used to be in crazy good shape and is trying to get back to really Living after a terrible few years of knee surgery, cancer, depression, and alcoholism, so I primarily got this for commuting/shopping/getting to the pool or woods to hike. It is the absolute most fun I've had on a bike since I was a teenager and first got on a real mountain bike, and is definitely every bit as awesome as I imagined having an e-bike would be! I genuinely love it so much, and I'm the type of person to *obsessively* compare specs and price to get the best bang for your buck, so I can definitively say that this bike is 100% worth the money, and then some. It's an utterly incredible bike that will last years, for less than a thousand dollars. Thanks Pujh! ... show more

  • 1st review
Color: Black&Red
Love the bike after 250 miles, but tires are crap ... 2 flats alrdy and spare tube blew apart on 1st inflation ... i need to raise the handlebars because my hands go numb leaning forward (old person) ... I'll get an adjustable stem to fix that and i'll order new tires / tubes ... also having trouble with the brakes pulsing, I'll dig into that repair too when time allows ... the electric assist is why i bought this bike, that part is awesome, average above 25-28 mph in top gear, gears easily adjust, assembly did take over an hr and I'm pretty mechanical .... battery lasts decent, not even close to running out in 20 miles (riding assist and peddling the whole time), i didn't buy this to scoot me around i want to push it around go farther faster ...b does that well ... show more

  • Great bike and culture
Color: Blue&White
These guys are very professional. The bike comes almost all put together, easy to do the rest. Quality parts, great support with people who follow through even from China , even though they have people here in California. Very impressed.

  • Fun but had a concern about turning sharply, possibly dangerous
Color: Blue&White
I've biked about 22 miles as of writing this. This is my first E-bike. I think it's really cool, and a lot of fun. I've biked a lot in the past, and my area has a lot of hills, and this makes it super easy to navigate those hills. My problems with this E-bike: The pedals are within range of the front tire, so if you are pedaling and trying to turn sharply, the front wheel hits your feet. This is extremely dangerous and can make you fall off the bike. This is a huge safety issue. This is the reason I'm giving this 3 stars. Even if you are an extremely good biker, you will fall if you turn sharply and pedal at the same time. This bike is TALL. I'm 5'9 and had trouble with it at first. It will be easy to fall if you are not careful. I read a lot of reviews that what you get, can differ in quality in a lot of ways. This is true. For the one I got, the left gear shifter has a problem, in the middle range of gears, it won't shift correctly and makes a noise, until I go to the top gear and then it shifts correctly. Probably an issue with this one bike? The instructions aren't great, some of the pictures and explanation are clearly mixed up, the picture shows one thing and the descriptions says something completely different, like it's in the wrong section. It took a while to get set up and was very annoying. The box was hard to get into, I literally used the nail pull on my hammer to rip it open. Their tools aren't great, it's better if you have your own set. I couldn't get the front fender to attach where I thought it should go, this will only be a problem on wet terrain. But again, I love biking and this really helps with hills so I'll give it a 3. The tire&pedal issue is a serious concern, it's a bad design flaw. All my other bikes have safe distance between the tire and the pedals, this one does not. ... show more

  • If you assemble and now experience get it checked out by local bike shop
Color: Black&Red
I am enjoying my E-bike. I did opt to assemble myself. This was not a hard project although after I completed and was airing rear tire the tube stem broke off so had to take to a local bike shop to fix and since there had them check it over. Glad I did they found I didn’t have things as tight as should be and cost extra $79 worth it because I felt confident to have a safe ride. Been riding in town every where. Highly recommend PUJH easy to learn equipment 😀 ... show more

  • Performance not as advertised!
Color: Blue&White
This bike doesnt do anything it says. Max speed was 24 not 34. Max distance even on PAS 1 was 18 miles not 100. On PAS 5 the Max speed only ever got to 24 and then it made it like pedaling with the break on to pass it manually even downhill, and on PAS 5 10 miles was the Maxnot the min of 35 advertised. That doesnt account for the intermittent turning off of any assistance even though everything was connected and operational. Spent 2 hours on the phone with the company troubleshooting all for nothing to change. I purchased this for the distance and this doesnt even come close. The times it turned off it would be 5-30 minutes before it came back on. Also both tires arrived with holes in them for which I never received the replacement tube, it came with one, any riding over 8 mph and a bump made the tires rub the fenders because it was flimsy, even mounting as high as it could go without the rear carrier so almost a foot off the tire in the back and it was so flimsy it would slap all the way to the tire and rub on almost any bump over 8 mph. The battery from fully used took 16 hours to recharge. The bike chain when forced to manually pedal would constantly slip all the way off and jam in the gears. Bad purchase avoid the headache ... show more
