  • Absolutely incredible bike with plenty of power
Color: Black&Red
So I've had this bike for about a month and a half now, about 200 miles, and took it on some real mountain bike trails for the first time today; now that I've taken it everywhere from windy, rocky singletrack to flat and extremely steep paved roads, I can finally write a review. This thing is AWESOME!!! It's my first time ever riding an e-bike, so I wanted something with power that didn't break the bank, and this bike does not disappoint. Lifting up the back tire and twisting to full throttle, it gets up to around 34mph on the speedometer, which is a bit faster than the cruising speed going on flat or a slight downhill. I almost always put it on the 5 power level because my rides are usually less than 15 miles and I ride fast. I'm around 200 lbs, and it maintains speed ~25mph on flat at top gear with pedal assist or coasting on electric. Riding hard at a 20mph average on hilly Pittsburgh terrain, at my weight, I'd say I have a 35 mile range. Someone who weighs less and rides moderately at a 3 power level could easily double that. Going downhill, I usually pedal until I hit 25 and then coast, and like I said I'm in Pittsburgh, so I've gotten up to 51.5mph if the speedometer is to be believed (and I could go faster on a different hill than my local ones)... This bike feels stable at high speeds, much moreso than any 26" bike I used to ride (I'm like 5'11"), and the brakes are decent enough to be safe if you have good awareness and control. Again, most bikers are lighter than me and I assume the brakes and acceleration will be even more impressive to them. The shocks are maybe the weakest link here, but I'm taking it pragmatically as a self-limiter, like "what you can handle with this shock is the level of concussive shock forces the electrical system connections can handle", and I think that's a pretty good way of looking at it to keep both bike and body safe. There have been a few times riding that I've needed to stop and let everything cool down for a moment, so don't panic if that happens. The motor output will suddenly just drop because the circuit is having as much power as possible dumped into it and overheats, so yeah this may not ever even be a problem for you if you aren't riding hard in the sun. Charging is easy, changing a tire and adjusting everything is easy, they even throw in a multi tool which is pretty basic but good to have as a spare. I'd recommend putting everything together with your own tools if you intend to do any real biking, and definitely taking a bit of time to tune the brakes and derailleurs. Listen: I'm a 34 year old man who used to be in crazy good shape and is trying to get back to really Living after a terrible few years of knee surgery, cancer, depression, and alcoholism, so I primarily got this for commuting/shopping/getting to the pool or woods to hike. It is the absolute most fun I've had on a bike since I was a teenager and first got on a real mountain bike, and is definitely every bit as awesome as I imagined having an e-bike would be! I genuinely love it so much, and I'm the type of person to *obsessively* compare specs and price to get the best bang for your buck, so I can definitively say that this bike is 100% worth the money, and then some. It's an utterly incredible bike that will last years, for less than a thousand dollars. Thanks Pujh! ... show more

  • Great Bike, Need Help With Replacement Bolts
Color: Blue&White
The bike works great and I’m very happy with it. While changing the tires, I lost the front wheel bolts. Could you please tell me the exact size/specs for the front bolts and confirm the wheel size for both front and rear? If possible, can you send the replacement bolts or provide a link to buy the correct ones? Thank you! ... show more

  • Fun but had a concern about turning sharply, possibly dangerous
Color: Blue&White
I've biked about 22 miles as of writing this. This is my first E-bike. I think it's really cool, and a lot of fun. I've biked a lot in the past, and my area has a lot of hills, and this makes it super easy to navigate those hills. My problems with this E-bike: The pedals are within range of the front tire, so if you are pedaling and trying to turn sharply, the front wheel hits your feet. This is extremely dangerous and can make you fall off the bike. This is a huge safety issue. This is the reason I'm giving this 3 stars. Even if you are an extremely good biker, you will fall if you turn sharply and pedal at the same time. This bike is TALL. I'm 5'9 and had trouble with it at first. It will be easy to fall if you are not careful. I read a lot of reviews that what you get, can differ in quality in a lot of ways. This is true. For the one I got, the left gear shifter has a problem, in the middle range of gears, it won't shift correctly and makes a noise, until I go to the top gear and then it shifts correctly. Probably an issue with this one bike? The instructions aren't great, some of the pictures and explanation are clearly mixed up, the picture shows one thing and the descriptions says something completely different, like it's in the wrong section. It took a while to get set up and was very annoying. The box was hard to get into, I literally used the nail pull on my hammer to rip it open. Their tools aren't great, it's better if you have your own set. I couldn't get the front fender to attach where I thought it should go, this will only be a problem on wet terrain. But again, I love biking and this really helps with hills so I'll give it a 3. The tire&pedal issue is a serious concern, it's a bad design flaw. All my other bikes have safe distance between the tire and the pedals, this one does not. ... show more

  • Works as intended
Color: Blue&White
I bought this bike "used-like new" and I've put just under 30 miles on it, it took roughly 2 hours to assemble and adjust everything to my liking (I'm 5'10", 155lbs), I would highly recommend buying better tools to assemble the bike with I did strip and bend the original tools that came with the bike, after about 2 miles of riding I did have to re tighten everything and adjust the brakes again, Battery life is okay it gets me to work and back just fine on one charge (about 3 miles each way), on just battery power on flat land I average about 25-28mph but have gotten it up to 32 mph on down hills, all in all its a good purchase if you just need something cheap to get to work and back, the only reason it's not 5 stars is because when I got it the front brake was slightly bent, it could have gotten bent during shipping so I wouldn't hold that against the company but I did have to bend it straight with a wrench. (Update) I put just over 300 miles on it, build quality is about equal to what you pay for the throttle response is kinda slow, if you use just throttle then switch to petaling it has a lag of about 2 seconds before the motor kicks back on, the brakes are kinda bad Ive tried adjusting them but just cant get them to feel right, the gearing feels kinda low they definitely could put a higher gear on it, when going 28mph it takes a lot of petaling to keep that speed it could use a higher gear (in the front sprocket set) to be able to make it easier to keep that speed, all in all even after 300 miles it is an okay bike I haven't have any major issues with it even riding in the rain. ... show more

  • As advertised
Color: Black&Red
The bike was easy to assemble. It is everything described. Only rode a few times but the battery seems great as well as speeds. And it looks great too. Would recommend.
