I bought this for my daughter and she has used it a good bit. This bike is fast and sturdy for the most part. The one issue I have with it is how the battery is attached to the bike. The attachment is flimsy and the screws holding it on are not strong. At one point the whole thing almost came off and I had to screw it back on. I feel like it will be the first thing to break on this mostly solid bike in the future. Hopefully the manufacturer will see this review and address this issue but I hold out little hope of that. This is my first electric bike (I'm not a regular bike rider, either) What a GREAT introduction into the world of electric bikes! I purchased the green 1000 watt bike--looks better in reality! I've had this bike for a couple weeks and road it in the neighborhood for ~30 mins. I was too excited to write this review. IT'S A "BEST BUY." Packaging: - the bike is packed very securely in a thick cardboard box that you my want to keep (great cardboard for other projects) - the box has plastic reinforcements in specific places were there may be potential puncture - the use of heavy duty zip-ties and thick Expanded Polyethylene foam is extensive (you would not want anything less!) Great packing! Assembly: (after removing from box, zip-ties and foam) (approximately 2 hours for total assembly) - you will install (in NO certain order): front tire, handle bar, front & rear fender, front & rear lights, cushioned seat (I'm 300 lbs and it feels good) and pedals (hopefully, I didn't miss anything) - tires need inflated (rear tire is basically fully inflated) - overall--EASY--when you see the finished product Features: (since this is my first electric bike, and I'm not a regular bike rider, either--I'm sure riders would have a better review for features) - horn, very bright lights (rear & front) - battery comes fully charged (plug & play) - the motor is pedal activated, and right hand handle bar throttle activated ( when you pedal the motor is activated) - 7 speed levels--example: level 1 has max speed of 12 mph, level 2 18 mph... (this bike has no problem moving this 300 lbs) FUN! - front shock that actually works - fat, knobby tires that helps absorb the bumps in the road Note: all tools, cable lock, keys: 2 for bike ignition & battery lock/removal and several small zip-ties are provided (sorry if I'm missing something) Note: instructions are NOT for dummies Note: put the rear fender on BEFORE you install the bike rack Please don't let the low price scare you away. I highly recommend this bike. It is solid, and for me, comes with features any novice would surely enjoy riding ... show more

Purchased two bikes. They do take some time to assemble and the instructions could be written better. They are very nice looking with tires that are very large and sturdy. I am 5 foot 1 and the bike ended up being a bit tall for me. The bikes run smooth and ride nicely. One of the chargers has never worked. We can charge the batteries with the one good charger but would like to see about getting the inoperable one exchanged. ... show more
