This is a perfect size for small families or even singles. It’s also a small unit and can be stored easily in between uses. It runs quietly and is easy and straightforward to use. I wish it had recipe ideas in the instructions as well as a silicone mat or something to make fruit leather. Otherwise it’s very good value for money for an entrance into drying foods at home.

I’ve never used a dehydrator before, so I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect—but this little machine completely surprised me in the best way. I thought there would be a big learning curve, but the controls are so simple and the temperature range is really easy to adjust, even for a total beginner. The temperature adjusts in 9 degree increments(Fahrenheit). I did find this a little odd as I am used to having most appliance adjust in 5 degree increments but it was an easy adaptation. The machine and trays are all super light weight and very easy to move around and the overall size is about 11 inches by 12 inches so it doesn't take up much space. The whole process does take several hours though so it will require a dedicated space while running. The clean-up is also very easy. The bottom part is just gently wiped down and all the trays can go right in the dishwasher! I started with making sweet potato treats for my dogs everything came out evenly dried without me having to rotate trays or babysit the process. The BPA‑free trays feel sturdy, and I love that they have two height options because it made it easy to experiment. The built‑in safety protection also gave me peace of mind since I didn’t know what I was doing yet. What really impressed me is how practical it is—I’m already using it to save produce before it goes bad and to make healthier snacks at home. For a first‑timer, this dehydrator made the whole experience surprisingly fun, stress‑free, and way more useful than I expected. The only thing missing was recipe instructions -it would be nice if this came with a little pack of recipes but those are easy accessed other places. This dehydrator is definitely worth the money-by the time I make 3 sets of treats for my dogs I will already have saved money from buying them pre-made. Even better I know exactly what is in the food they are eating! Peace of mind, tasty snacks, simple to use, and reasonably priced-overall a fantastic value! Highly recommend this one!
