This is great portable AC unit. I have been use this AC for a month, it works well for my upstair bedroom about 180 sqft. and does a really good job cooling wonderfully. The remote control feature is very helpful and the window attachment is very easy to install. My window is higher to the floor so I have to use a small bucket next to it and empty it every 3 hours as it drains the condensation from the unit. The vents are adjustable so you can direct the cool air when you need it. It also automatic shut off when the room reaches the temperature per setting and then turn on when room temperature increases. Overall, it works perfectly! ... show more

Larger than I expected, but in a good way—it feels solid and powerful. I set it up by the window and installation was pretty straightforward with the included kit. It cools the room quickly and seems energy efficient. Very easy to use overall. Definitely a must-have for summer!

This air conditioner has an exceptional cooling effect. It's compact and can be moved to any room. I really like to place it in the kitchen. When I cook, the kitchen gets very hot, but my kitchen lacks air conditioning. This small air conditioner works great in the kitchen. It's truly fantastic.

This portable AC has honestly been a lifesaver! My house faces south and is generally comfortable year-round, but during the summer, the sun-facing room gets extremely hot in the afternoon. During the recent heat wave, it made a huge difference and cooled the room quickly. I was also really impressed when I first opened the box—the packaging was excellent and protected the unit very well. I was a bit worried about installation at first, but it turned out to be very simple, which was a relief. The cooling performance is very satisfying overall. If I had to mention one downside, it would be the exhaust hose—it’s a bit bulky and not the most aesthetically pleasing in the room. It cools well however the tube that goes to the window is cumbersome and the piece that goes into the window was too big. So it ends up taking more space in the room. I should have bought a window unit. I probably will.

    • Works as Intended but Bulky in Appearance
I wanted this for two reasons. During the summer months one of my upstairs bedrooms doesn’t cool as I want it even though we have a new central AC. Second, our sub basement tends to get very humid and damp. This unit takes care of both those issues. The unit arrives well packaged against damage. I suggest watching the video on set up because it is something most of us have never needed to install. After some trial and error, set up was easy and quick. Once it is installed and the venting is to the outside, turning it on is a snap. The LED screen and push button remote both are easy to use. I will say the remote works best if you are close to the unit as opposed to outside the room. It seems to cool quickly and efficiently with the temperature displayed and the temperature on my portable thermostat within 3° of each other. It is not the quietest of things, it reminds me of a hotel room air conditioner. The first few nights it did wake me up throughout the night but now I’m used to it. The unit is portable, on wheels but this doesn’t mean you can wheel it from one side to the other side of the room. The hose is not built for that. Speaking of hoses, while the unit is a small footprint and looks aesthetically pleasing, the cumbersome hose does not! If you are looking for a unit that is sleek and fades into the background, this is not it. Overall, it does cool when needed and does remove some of the access humidity from my basement. I appreciate being able to use either the water reservoirs or the drain tube for the basement floor drain. If I had to choose, I would purchase a window AC unit and use this for just a dehumidifier unit. ... show more
