I only mention this because we Viners do have some skin in the game for each item we order. Why I ordered this item: I've been wanting to get into home espresso for a while. I usually just do drip coffee but my wife drinks lattes and I got tired of going to the coffee shop every weekend. I figured a machine with a steam wand was the right move. Likes: * The espresso it pulls is really good. Rich, dark, with crema on top that looks like what you'd get at a cafe. I was not expecting that from a machine at this price. * The steam wand gets hot fast. I had milk foamed up and ready in maybe a minute and a half. The foam is pretty thick and textures well if you take your time with it. * Setup was super easy. I had it out of the box and pulling a shot in maybe twenty minutes. The digital display is zippy and responsive; no lag when you tap through settings. * The water tank is big enough that I don't have to refill it every single morning. It's also clear so I can see exactly how much is left without pulling it off the machine. No likes: * The drip tray fills up faster than I'd like. If you're pulling a few shots back to back you'll need to dump it pretty quick or it overflows. It's a little screwy for a machine with this much functionality. * There's no pressure gauge. I'd love to see what it's actually pulling during extraction so I can dial in the grind. Kind of a weird omission. Would I pay full price for this product: Yes Final thoughts: For a first home espresso machine this thing punches well above what the price suggests. The shots taste great and the steam wand can make a proper latte. The drip tray situation is annoying but it's not a dealbreaker.

I set up this compact espresso machine on my limited counter space; its narrow footprint fits well while handling espresso, cappuccinos, and lattes. The sleek stainless-look design looks nice and has proven reliable for daily use. Setup was straightforward, the controls and digital display are easy to understand, and it heats up quickly so I can pull shots within minutes. It brews consistently smooth, rich espresso with good crema using ground coffee or capsules and pods. Programmable single, double, or custom shots offer the flexibility I want. The cup warmer on top is a useful extra. For the price, it delivers excellent value and has performed better than expected for an entry-level machine, saving money compared with coffee-shop drinks. The built-in milk frother and steam wand produce smooth, creamy foam for lattes and cappuccinos once the technique is mastered, and they also dispense hot water. The removable water tank is easy to fill and clean, the adjustable drip tray accommodates different mug sizes, and cleanup is simple with the removable parts. Manual frothing takes practice to avoid splatters and get the foam right, as the technique is not automatic. This espresso machine is one of the coolest appliances I’ve had in my kitchen. Over the years, I’ve developed a taste for espresso drinks and have wanted to own one. This machine is much more than I expected. Perfect for the home kitchen, this comes complete. It makes one or two shots of espresso that come out perfect every time. It also has a milk steamer. To be honest, this is a bit challenging for me, but each steam is getting a bit foamier, and I trust practice will make perfect. This machine has easily removable parts that make cleanup a breeze. The detachable water reservoir holds cups of water, and the machine heats up quickly. This compact machine comes with everything I need to make an espresso drink – a funnel with two filters (a single and a double cup for ground coffee) and a portafilter for pods, a measuring spoon and tamper, cleaning tool, and a manual. I absolutely love this machine and look forward to enjoying a future of cappuccinos and lattes. This is a quality appliance that I use regularly and highly recommend.

This is the second Electactic 20 Espresso machine I have had. This first one was a gift, and this one I plan to give to my daughter. If you are an espresso aficionado like I am, and go broke buying espresso at coffee shops, this machine will save you a whole lot of money in the long run. It took me a little while, but I actually got where my cups are just about as good as a certain name brand coffee house. The machine itself comes with a 20 bar system, milk frother, programmable controls, single/double, customizable shots, reminder, digital display, and a removable 1.2 liter water tank. It makes cappuccino, latte, espresso, and macchiato drinks. It has a cup warmer, removable drip tray, and comes with easy to read instructions.
