Description

PROFESSIONAL QUALITY: Expertly crafted with a reduced front section and improved air flow, the Elchim Classic 2001 hair dryer is ideal for all hair types, but especially thick, coarse hair that typically becomes wild and frizzy after drying. Instead of drying out and damaging your hair like others, our high-quality ceramic dryers emit infrared heat to dry hair gently and evenly. This form of heat seals the cuticle for a smoother finish, resulting in shinier, healthier and more hydrated strands. POWERFUL ENGINE: The Classic 2001 hair dryer features classic Italian engineering, including a high- performance heating element and a powerful 1,875 watt AC motor designed for heavy use in professional beauty salons. This means less energy consumption and time spent exposing your hair to heat. A cold air button can be activated as needed, and a 9-foot professional cord gives you ample room to work. QUICK DRYING TIME: No more spending mornings drying your hair for 30 minutes or more. With its robust motor and maximum airflow design, the Classic 2001 speeds up drying time to get you out the door to your busy day. CONCENTRATOR INCLUDED: To perfect your look, use the provided precision nozzle attachment for brushing and styling. By concentrating the heat and air on specific sections of your hair, it makes drying more efficient and greatly assists with styling. The end result will be absolutely gorgeous! LIFETIME WARRANTY: Top quality products and customer service are our top priorities. Please contact us with any issues regarding your Elchim hair dryer to take advantage of our comprehensive warranty and to receive additional information about our policies. • Love this one!
Color: White & Black
I've been using the Elchim Classic hair dryer for over 10 years now. I tried the Shark for about a week and I had lots of fly aways. I bought this one again when my old one stopped working. My routine is to mostly dry my hair, use a small to medium sized round brush, and then use a curling iron. If the routine is working, why try and change it. ... show more

    • Good quality, reasonable price

My hairdresser recommended this brand, I found this model to be most affordable. I like it.

    • Best blow out dryer.
Color: White
Gets hot enough for my curly hair. Had one previously for 11 years! Only replaced it because I dropped it and the filter cover broke off. But bought the same model again and it never disappoints. Not the lightest but also not heavy at all.

    • light weight, great for traveling, amazing drying power
Color: Red/Black
This blow dryer is amazing for drying power and when i travel it is so easy. When I use this blow dryer it is so easy to use and surprisingly light weight un like my other blow dryer it was hard and it took 30 min to dry my hair and was so heavy if you get the blow dryer wet you could be hurt .

    • Excellent
Color: Gold & Black
This dryer is amazing. The pressure and heat of the dryer combine well and creates an opportunity for efficiency in the work place. My only wish is for a concentrator comb to be included.

    • Lasts a long time
Color: Black
I bought this hairdryer from Amazon in 2013 for $75 and it is still going strong. The price differential for the last 11 years is actually pretty good all things considered and it gives my baby fine hair a ton of volume.

    • Works as advertised
Color: Red/Black
I am giving this dryer five stars because it does what it says it will. So many products don't, so this is a relief. After reading all of the reviews, I expected two key things. One, that the dryer would malfunction in some way (flames flying out of it, wires in the cord breaking, etc) and two, that my hair would be dry in no time at all. So far, so good on the malfunction issue. I'm not living in fear of my dryer. To help the cord life, I attached a larger loop to the dryer so I could safely hang it on a hook (the loop hole on the dryer was too small for my hook). As far as my hair drying at warp speed, the jury is still out. My husband mentioned that he thinks he can dry our daughter's hair faster, so maybe it does. Personally, I don't see much difference in dry time from this expensive one to my BJ's cheapo purchase a few years ago. It's not a significant enough difference to justify the cost. I'm keeping this dryer for two reasons. First, it's hard to find the speed and heat combinations that this one has. I can use a warm/hot setting for my kids that won't burn their delicate skin (2 and 4 years old) and a hot/hot setting for me to dry my medium length, thick hair as fast as I can. In either case, I can use a "low blow" setting or a "high blow" setting (such technical terms I have) so I can not only control the speed at which I dry, but also the level of noise output. That brings me to my second reason for keeping it. LOW NOISE LEVEL. The is the quietest dryer I've ever owned and the key reason I'm keeping it. I can finally dry my hair before I go to bed at night, without fear of waking the entire household. And if I use the "low blow" setting on hot heat, I can get my hair totally dry with very little noise. For me, that's worth the cost! Mine came in black, which is what I ordered. I got two filters for the back of it (I don't know why though) and the nozzle that concentrates the heat to one area. I don't use that, but I found that my old diffuser fits over this dryer and I use that quite often. I would say my hair dries much faster with the diffuser over the top. Some reviewers said the dryer is too heavy. I'm 5'1" and I don't work out (unless running after my kids counts), so I was concerned about this fact. I dry my hair pretty much daily, so weight isn't a small concern over time. But, it's not a problem. In fact, it's slightly lighter than my last dryer, so I'm happy! Overall, I would recommend this dryer to others and I would purchase it again in the future. ... show more

    • Best blow dryer ecer
Color: Red/Black
Leave it to the Italians to make a blow dryer that is awesome. Not sure what exactly it is but my hair has body when I use this vs other blow dryers don’t give as much body. Heat great, easy to use, size is perfect and made really well! Highly recommend buying this
