I'm pretty impressed with my Beatbot pool robot. It does an excellent job cleaning the entire pool, including the floor, walls, and waterline, leaving everything looking spotless. The robot is easy to set up, operates efficiently, and saves me a significant amount of time compared to manual cleaning. It picks up dirt, leaves, and fine debris with ease. Finally have this after waiting longer than promised by Amazon, but that's another issue. I have used it three times in an inground pool with a complex configuration. The Multizone mode worked the best for our pool. It came partially charged so stick it on the charger upon delivery. So here are the positives. Very easy to use. Select the mode from the unit or app (Floor only, Floor/waterline, multizone), and let it go. Really nice to be able to throw it in and walk away until it's done. It will allow vacuuming on a more regular basis as I don't have to take time to vacuum the pool. It gets more debris than our pole and hose vacuum, picking up sand and small stuff as well as the larger things. The basket has very fine mesh that collects quite a bit. A 20x40 irregular pool gets completed in about 3.5 to 4 hours and there has been 15 to 20% left on the battery. Great battery life. The self-park is really nice. I receive a message on my phone or watch that its done and go out to find it at the pool edge waiting to be removed. Guessing it stays there until the battery is depleted. It's entertaining to watch - especially for our outdoor cats :) It is a bit larger than I was anticipating but is very manageable both in size and weight. The charging base is small and fits nicely on a table in our pool house. The not so greats. It does get hung up on the main drain and the return jets. It will work its way off eventually unless the pool filter is running. I turned it off and it worked itself off and went on its way. It doesn't pick up everything, but 97%+, leaving some of the very fine algae in places. I am hoping that running it every couple of days for a while will take care of that. In the meantime, a quick brushing does the trick. It seems a bit disorganized to me, but maybe still in the learning process of our pool. It is a bit expensive though we got it discounted on Prime Day for about $1000. Likely wouldn't have paid the regular price of $1500. Overall pleased with it so far - especially since I no longer have to vacuum the pool myself. Hopefully it will be durable and last for many years with proper care.

8 months in: Back to 1 star, do NOT buy this robot; I’m on my third one. These things just keep dying, over and over again. They put the cheapest parts in them and I haven’t had one last more than 4 months. UPDATED REVIEW: After several weeks with this robot I have to admit it has grown on me, and here's why. In short, you have to make concessions to get the surface parking and cradle charging features, but they are soooo worth it. Here are some of my previous complaints and the compromises I've had to make. 1. IT FLIPS OVER IN THE POOL! It has a smaller basket so it gets full quicker and this makes it top heavy; hence the flipping over reported by some. So if you want it to clean the walls you should run it with the pool pump off. My pump only runs at 65% but when the robot gets top-heavy and starts to climb, it can still flip over. It also doesn't have quite the same power as the other bots which probably contributes to this. 2. It doesn't clean as good and leaves behind TONS of debris. Also due to the smaller basket, you will need to clean larger debris out of your pool before running this robot. This thing is more of "maintenance" robot than a deep cleaner. So if a big storm fills your pool full of leaves and stuff, you will have to do a little more prep work before tossing it in. 3. It does NOT get the water line and It does NOT climb steps It does take time to learn your pool. All of these companies say that but this one actually does an excellent job of that. It WILL get the waterline and climb stairs. 4. Constantly shows “offline” in the app DUh, it can't communicate under water. However, once it's done it returns to the surface, stays there for 5-10 min, and sends an alert to your phone; a.k.a. surface parking!! This is a game changer!! No more swapping hook attachments, finding it and fishing the robot off the bottom! I know it seems like such a trivial thing but trust me you will never want another robot without surface parking once you have it!!! 5. The charging cradle is awesome! No more fumbling with cables and charge ports and making sure its dry first. None of that. Just pull it off the surface, empty the basket, and stick it on the charger. DONE! I love it. Time will tell about the durability, but most of these robots only last 2-5 years in my experience. If it lasts that long it's worth it for the time it saves me. I've canceled my return and will ride with this for the time being. Take note other companies, just as the cordless pool cleaners changed the game, surface parking and cradle charging are the way forward.

The charger design is well thought out, and the Beatbot works effectively across the pool, doing a solid job of cleaning. My pool is fairly large and has an unusual shape, but the Beatbot is able to cover most of it without any issues. I’ve seen some people complain about the weight of the Beatbot, but I personally don’t find it heavy. For me, the weight is perfectly manageable and hasn’t been a problem. The filter is on the smaller side, so it’s not ideal for heavy debris like large leaves. However, the filter material is very fine, which allows it to capture a lot of small particles that my regular pool cleaner usually misses. Because of that, it does a better job with fine dirt and debris. It’s rare for the Beatbot to get stuck in any area of the pool, which is a big plus. The software that controls the Beatbot isn’t especially useful, but the good news is that the unit operates almost entirely automatically, so there’s very little need to interact with the app. The battery lasts long enough to complete a full cleaning cycle of my pool. When it finishes, the Beatbot conveniently goes to the edge of the pool and floats there, making it easy to retrieve. Overall, it’s a reliable and mostly hands‑off pool cleaner that performs well, especially for fine debris.

We have had the BeatBot AquaSense 2 for just over 1 year now and logged 120 sessions in our 90,000 gallon pool for a total of 370 hours. We have had no issues with the machine and it is a game changer in that the pool is cleaner than we had with our Polaris 2800 and Polaris 3900 systems running every day. And we do not miss the tangled hoses. I now only brush the walls once a month versus once per week. We no longer have to waste water or time vacuuming the pool manually, and surprisingly the acid demand has fallen to less than half what is was. AI explains that is a result of less CO2 aerated into the water by the Polaris circulation. Battery life has been very good with some sessions over 240 minutes (Floor 2x or wall 2x). Although mapping in our curved bottom pool has not been perfect, we typically run the BeatBot in the Floor mode one day and wall/water line mode the next day. This is done weekly and leaves no spots to hand clean. BeatBot is a game changer for us as I spend less time and the pool is cleaner.

After using the Beatbot AquaSense 2 for a few weeks, I figured it’s worth sharing my experience, especially for anyone on the fence. I’ve owned several pool cleaners over the years, most of them were expensive, and while they could have the job done, there’s always been something missing—either they’d get stuck, miss spots, or just didn’t handle the waterline well. This one I just bought? Really exceeded my expectations. The cleaning power is excellent. I have a medium-sized in-ground pool with some curved edges and steps, and this thing navigates everything surprisingly well. The waterline scrubbing is actually legit—it doesn’t just swipe at it once and move on. You can tell it’s doing a second pass, and the result is noticeable. The pool looks cleaner overall, especially around the edges where grime tends to build up. The setup was easy, just few minutes to get it done. And there's no cords, which is a huge plus. It’s heavy, but that’s probably part of why it climbs walls so well. The app works fine as well. I’ll admit, I was skeptical about the price. It’s not cheap. But after seeing how well it works, I don’t regret it. It saves me time, and I don’t have to babysit it like I did with previous cleaners. If you’re someone who values reliability and low-maintenance solutions, this is a solid option. Not perfect, but definitely the best I’ve used so far.

It's been awhile since my purchase, I wanted to use it enough to warrant a review. I am thrilled with this little pool cleaner. So well worth the money and when it comes to cleaning it's awesome in my little pool! I'm not thrilled that it has to stay inside when charging or not in use but I've managed. It has saved me hours of pool cleaning, and completely cleans the sides, bottom and waterline very well. Seems to hold a charge very well and currently I get more than 2 hours of cleaning off of a full charge.

Our corded pool robot recently broke after 5 years of heavy use. We have a lot of mature oak trees in our yard that drop leaves, twigs, acorns etc. into the pool basically all year round, so we need a robot that is able to handle larger debris. Our corded one cleaned well and had a high capacity basket but the cord would get tangled easily, which was a pain. That model was also pretty expensive. So when it broke and it came time to purchase a new one, I decided I wanted to try a cordless model. After doing some research online and asking some fellow pool owners for recommendations, I decided to go with Beatbot. I've now had this robot for almost 4 months and have used it multiple times, and unfortunately, I'm not happy with it. On the plus side it was easy to set up in the app, and it cleans ok; however, the basket capacity is very small so I get frequent messages that the basket is clogged and I need to go empty it before I can continue the cleaning cycle. What's even more annoying is that when I go to dump out the basket it is not even close to being full but for some reason even small leaves, twigs, and grit seem to clog it. Due to these issues, I would NOT recommend this robot if you need to pick up leaves, twigs, or other large debris. I also ordered the Beatbot M1/Sora 30 model off of Amazon and that model, which is less expensive than this one, is MUCH better. The basket is bigger and it picks up leaves and twigs with ease. It rarely becomes clogged before completing a cleaning cycle. I can just set it and forget it. I highly recommend that model if you have lots of trees in your yard. This one is overpriced and a dud!
