After using the Beatbot AquaSense 2 for a few weeks, I figured it’s worth sharing my experience, especially for anyone on the fence. I’ve owned several pool cleaners over the years, most of them were expensive, and while they could have the job done, there’s always been something missing—either they’d get stuck, miss spots, or just didn’t handle the waterline well. This one I just bought? Really exceeded my expectations. The cleaning power is excellent. I have a medium-sized in-ground pool with some curved edges and steps, and this thing navigates everything surprisingly well. The waterline scrubbing is actually legit—it doesn’t just swipe at it once and move on. You can tell it’s doing a second pass, and the result is noticeable. The pool looks cleaner overall, especially around the edges where grime tends to build up. The setup was easy, just few minutes to get it done. And there's no cords, which is a huge plus. It’s heavy, but that’s probably part of why it climbs walls so well. The app works fine as well. I’ll admit, I was skeptical about the price. It’s not cheap. But after seeing how well it works, I don’t regret it. It saves me time, and I don’t have to babysit it like I did with previous cleaners. If you’re someone who values reliability and low-maintenance solutions, this is a solid option. Not perfect, but definitely the best I’ve used so far.

The media could not be loaded. We have a 21' round, above ground pool. The liner is nearly 10 years old and well stained, but it is in good shape otherwise. We struggle to keep it clean with all of the nearby trees since the hose and current vacuum setup is a pain. Enter the Beatbot AquaSense 2. Cleaning the pool became MUCH easier. Setting it up is quick as you just need to download the app, create an account, enter home network info and pair with your phone (hold power button and the "Floor" mode button until the status bar flashes blue). To clean the pool, simply: a. Fully charge the unit b. Drop it in the pool and let it go c. When it's done (you will get a notification on your phone), pull it from the pool and let it drain. It will make plenty of noise for several minutes as it drains the water. d. Hose it off and wash the filter basket thoroughly then place the Beatbot back on the charger. NOTE: the instructions say the charger and unit need to be kept indoors. To prevent our hardwood floors from being damaged from the water dripping off it, we place the charger and Beatbot in a large storage bin next to the door (see image). It works great. The Good: - The unit did not require any assembly other than sliding a couple braces onto the charger and removing the cardboard from inside the filter basket. Plus the app, account and network setup mentioned above. - The construction and materials all feel high quality. - The instruction manual is big with large print which makes it much easier to read. It also includes a very large quick guide sheet. The instructions and information themselves are also good. The only thing that tripped me up was the pairing process. The instructions said to hold the power and mode buttons, so I held down the power and both mode buttons without success. In another place, it specifically said to hold down the "Floor" mode button and power button. This worked. The Bad: - It can't go up the walls of our circular pool. It tries, but just can't do it, so we have to do those manually. - While going through fine stuff, it will kick things up a little, but it gets most of it (see video). It gets the missed bits during later passes or the next time you run it. - While making passes back and forth, it doesn't really overlap the previous pass and sometimes is off a little which creates a stripe (see image). However, it usually ends up cleaning up all of these spots by the end of its process. - Once in a while, it will look like it is stuck going back and forth over the same path upwards of 10-20 times, but it eventually figures itself out and moves on. - There should have been a place on the charger to store the hook. Overall, this has been a good product and has made vacuuming the pool such an easier and pain-free process. The unit isn't perfect, but we do not regret ordering it.

Its the best investment i had on my pool so far. It was much easier to set up and use than I was expecting. I got the Beatbot from packing box to setup, connected, and working in under 30 minutes. And it is amazing when it comes to cleaning the floor, walls and waterline. It cleans about 99% of what I'd expect. When activity is complete it moves to the pool edge for retrieval. This is a fantastic feature. Other cordless machines have to be fished out of the bottom of the pool. If you want a hands-off way to keep your pool clean, BeatBot’s totally worth it. The time it saves is worth the cost. I would recommend this robot to anyone wanting to get one to clean their pool.

I'd never used a pool robot before. After couple days of research I chose the Beatbot pool cleaning robot, and I'm surprised how powerful this robot is. Its smart navigation and powerful cleaning abilities mean I can keep my pool crystal clear with minimal effort on my part. Drop it in the pool and away it goes. I've found no areas of the pool it hasn't learned. Love this thing!
