Our family loves holiday home decor and Buffalo plaid. These blankets are perfect for Autumn and Halloween decor. They are made of a soft plush in a bright orange and black Buffalo plaid. The orange is brighter than the usual orange in Buffalo plaid fabric, so you could use these all year round. These are lightweight blankets but surprisingly warm. I wish they were available in queen size. The 50 x 60 size is meant as throws to decorate a couch or twin bed. For this size, we usually buy two in order to cover our queen bed. Suggested laundry ideas: wash in cold water by themselves to avoid getting fuzz balls on other clothing in case they shed fiber. Dry in the lowest heat or on air fluff. Use laundry detergent without fabric softeners. Fabric softener makes this plush fabric pill. Instead, use dryer sheets like Bounce when drying. ... show more
