I can’t say enough about this dish set! I call my home The Farmhouse, and these plates definitely fit that theme! Scratch resistant, color is gorgeous, so easy to clean, and heat resistant as I have no issues with heating food on them in the microwave! High quality dishes at a great price!

    • Simply beautiful!
I ordered two sets of this Elama dinnerware to replace my old Pfaltzgraf dishes. I was a little worried about ordering something so fragile online, but the sets were packaged well and arrived in perfect condition. And they are positively gorgeous! With their scalloped edges, the dessert plates complement the dinner plates perfectly, and the embossed pattern is a chic farmhouse style I just love. I considered the mugs a "bonus" I didn't really want, but I love these mugs! Some "fancy" ceramic mugs aren't comfortable to hold, but the handles on these fit my hand well, and the mugs have a nicely rounded shape and more beautiful embossing. I was pleasantly surprised by how these plates hold food. Now, I realize that sounds strange, but think about it: the shape and features of a plate's surface change how the food can be arranged on it. My old set had a wide, flat rim, leaving a flat depression barely bigger than a dessert plate in the center. Because of this, meals always filled both the center and part of the rim. Not only did this look sloppy, but it also made the plate seem overfilled even when the portions were quite reasonable. These Elama plates are slightly concave from center to outer rim, giving the diner the entire surface to arrange food on. It looks neat, tidy, and spacious. Borderline OCD? Perhaps. ;) But I love how these plates hold food. I couldn't be happier with this purchase! UPDATE: I’ve had these dishes for almost six months now and haven’t chipped a single one!     • Simple but beautifully delicate design
This dish set is absolutely adorable! It's giving vintage and delicate (: Nothing came broken luckily, but they will replace it if something does which is very reassuring. Easy to clean. They are dishwasher safe, though I have only hand washed them personally. Would definitely recommend!

I was hesitant to buy this set online, assuming something would be broken in shipping, but was pleasantly surprised all pieces arrived intact. They are packed really well from the manufacturer , so I believe the reviews posted saying some pieces were cracked or chipped were due to the shipping company. The design is very pretty, the edges are definitely a shade of brown, not red and the dishes are beige with a hint of light gray on the embossed design. The dishes are the perfect weight and I’ve used them in the microwave and dishwasher with no issues. We are using them for every day, replacing a mismatched set. Beautiful dishes. Love the ivory color. Safe in dishwasher or microwave. Dinner plates, bowls, and cups all have a brown rim. Dessert/salad plates don't have a brown rim, but have a nice scalloped shape. Dishes are heavy duty (shipping box weighed over 22 pounds for 4-place settings). Dishes are extremely well-packed for shipping -- not one broken or chipped piece in 3 boxes for a total of 12 place settings. Couldn't be happier with these dishes. ... show more

    • Very pretty stoneware
This is a very pretty stoneware set. It can be used for everyday or for special occasions. My husband got it for me for Christmas because I was needing new stoneware. The only thing I didn't like is I wish the mugs were bigger. I like big mugs and the picture can be deceiving.

Absolutely love these plates! I took my time to find the right pattern I liked and I’m so glad I did. They wash nicely in the dishwasher, work great in the microwave and are a really nice weight, not too heavy but not too light. Even the mugs which I really didn’t need are now my go to mugs!
