This is a good quality cover which makes the Apple remote un-slippery and easier to hold. Everything fits snugly and the holes are properly aligned. As for the magnets, they hold weakly to my refrigerator, but since my TV is in the bedroom, I didn't need them and was fearful they'd mess with other nearby electronics. However, they simply pop out if you don't need them, no surgery required. As for the glow feature, I left the remote in the sun for a few hours and it did indeed glow a faint blue. I doubt this would last very long, and I don't need it anyway since the white case makes it easy to spot in a room darkened for TV. I didn't need the lanyard either and removed it; my cat is tempted by such things and he'd most likely run off with it. But, absent the magnets and lanyard, the case is very nice and serves its purpose well, for the price it's worth it.

Great Case for AppleTV Remote. It makes the remote much easier to hold. It looks great. It provides nice cushion when setting the remote on my glass coffee table and protects the remote from scratches. Easy to install & remove (my daughter did it). The only negative thing is the magnets built into the case aren't quite strong enough to hold the remote on the side of the refrigerator. Not that I would keep the remote there, but, it was the only place I had to test that feature out. It doesn't slide down real fast, but it does slowly slide down nonetheless.

As an avid Apple TV user, I was thrilled to find the this case. The moment I slipped my remote into the silicone case, I knew it was a perfect fit. Good case and it has a nice tactile feel, and the magnets are a plus since my tv stand is metal/glass - I can stick it on the stand. Only gripe is the thin material and the bit that is on the front and above the siri button. It’s flimsy so it will bend down, especially when you press the right button on the ring.
