Over-the-ear is the way to go
Style: Over Ear USB Headset with AI ENC
I am often in a small office space with two other people working on the phones, as well. I needed a headphone/mic setup that would provide over-ear coverage so that I wasn’t distracted by the volume of the voices around me. I had hoped to find one with noise-cancelling headphones, but that doesn’t seem to exist in this category, or perhaps just not at my price point. This was the best that I found, and honestly, I find that I don’t mind the lack of noise cancelling. These are comfortable, easy to use (just plug and play) and the sound quality has been perfect. The only time people have had trouble hearing me on the other line has been when my office mate has had trouble keeping the volume of her voice in a normal range and verges on shouting within our small space - I think the mic noise-cancelling tries to over-correct for that, and in those cases I just move the mic a little closer to my mouth. I have been so grateful for these. I also had a need to connect with customer service recently and the care and attention they provided has been exceptional. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending these to someone else in need of a similar fix.

great noise canceling mic
Style: Over Ear USB Headset with AI ENC
People seriously need to read product descriptions closer. I noticed a lot of reviews for this product complaining about how this headset isn’t noise canceling. Well, the company advertises this headset as having a noise canceling MIC (the part you talk into) - it is not noise canceling to the wearer (the part you hear). To clarify, if you are in a loud setting (like my office) the person on the other end of your call can hear your voice crystal clear without hearing all the background noise behind you. However, YOU will still hear the background noise (although muffled quite a bit due to the around-the-ears fit). So, I’m giving it 5 stars because it’s exactly as described - has a noise canceling mic. It’s also very comfortable (i wear it almost all day to listen to music when not in meetings). One of the few sets I found that is around-the-ear (vs. on-the-ear). Highly recommend!

Annoying voice prompts!
Style: Over Ear USB Headset with AI ENC
Would be a fine headset... But there is no way I will be able to stand this thing telling me "Microphone Off" and "Microphone On" every single time I mute and unmute the headset.

Really good headset but how to mute MICROPHONE ON / OFF voice????
Style: Over Ear USB Headset with AI ENC
This is a nice headset. I needed a new one because the old one hurts my ears and the over the ears help with that. While I use it for work, I did start streaming and the headset works really well. Also, the control is actually on the headset and not on the wire, which I greatly dislike and was the reason I got the headset in the first place (old one had it on the wire and I kept bumping the volume to max or mute completely without realizing it). The only thing I don't like is that the headset yells MICROPHONE ON / MICROPHONE OFF even when it moves slightly from the off position and it actually cuts out all audio when it does that. If there's a way to mute that, I would give 5 stars for the headset.

Cheap but good enough
Style: Over Ear USB Headset with AI ENC
I was pretty happy with these for a few months. However I just have them snap on my after I took them out of my work bag. The audio quality was always good but the build quality leaves some to be desired.

Functional headset with noticeable issues
Style: Over Ear USB Headset with AI ENC
The headset works. I blocks out the background noise due to the over-the-ear headphone design - the noise cancellation feature seems unnoticeable. I dinged the review for two reasons: 1. You cannot hear yourself talk - there is no audible feedback of one's voice, especially since the earpieces do a reasonable job of blocking out the background noise. Talking becomes much harder than it should be. 2. The audio quality of the headphones is only fair - I have to crank up the volume just to understand the other party. The controls work, but feel cheap and are awkward to use. For about $50 these really aren't bad for the price. But you will be wanting more features and better quality.
