Threw away my old grimy plastic kitchen trashcan for this. Has an insert that comes out that makes putting on the trashbag easy. Sometimes it can be hard to remove the bag if it is stuffed. Can is very tall and lid opens easily. An upgrade for sure. Well-made.

I bought this to replace my other stainless steel garbage can because the finish on it started flaking off after being exposed to a natural air freshener spray with essential oils (bummer…my bad). Anyway this can is a bit roomier than my last one from a different manufacturer and it’s so nice! I can lift a packed garbage bag out so much easier. I would definitely buy it again. It came packed extremely well in a huge sturdy box. I will admit it does have a very small ding on one side for some reason, but it really isn’t noticeable and not worth me trying to return or exchange because it still looks and functions great! ... show more

My old stainless steel trash can was barely held together with duct tapes. It lasted over 15 years. It’s time to let it go. I got this EKO step-on stainless steel trash can and couldn’t be happier! It’s roomy and easy to open and close. It fits my Costco’s 13-gallon trash bags. The can's finish was slick but monotone, so I decorated it with stickers to give it some charm. The lid has a small built-in compartment for odor control. I put a spoonful of Downy Unstopables beads inside and it worked out well. (While the beads did not fall out of the compartment, I’ll probably find a small sachet to put the beads in.) Out with the old, in with the new. This trashcan looks great in my kitchen! The chrome finish looks very modern and the step lever feels very reliable and durable. It even closes slowly so it won’t make a loud slam when it closes. The included trash bags are a nice touch as well. Packaging was very nice as well.
