My current job provided me with a plastic badge holder with two compartments to accommodate two badges back-to-back. The badges, either front or back, can only be accessed by pressing one's thumb against the surface of the badge, exposed in a cut-out, and pushing upward to get the badge to extend past the upper edge of the holder. I found this method to be extremely difficult and frustrating. This badge holder eliminates that method by allowing one to swing open the front cover for access to badge one or removing badge two on the back by easily gripping it, slightly bending it and pulling it free. This ease of access was EXACTLY why I bought the product and I have to say I was not disappointed in the slightest. My second badge requires less access and more visibility. My first badge, however, must be removed from the holder to be scanned. The original badge holder made this process THE THIRTEENTH LABOR OF HERCULES and I am no god. This only holds two cards but works very well. The RFID blocker is pretty resilient and will set off metal detectors so keep this in mind if you work in an airport environment.

This is a perfect card holder/lanyard to meet the standards of my work environment. It has an RF blocker, but a pivoting case so pro card can be used without taking the card out of the holder. Back side of the case holds my CAC card. I have never had any issues with my cards falling out. Lanyard is also a nice thick paracord type material with a rubber clip type device that stops the card from flipping over so the side you want facing forward is always facing the correct way. I have used this 5-6 days a week for the last 2 years approx and have not had a single issue. ... show more

Gread badge holder. Hinge works very well if you constantly need to get the smartcard/badge out for loggin in. Card slides out very easily. Was able to squeeze in a proximity card on the backside. Seems very durable. TAP function doesnt work in closed case due to metal shielding card protection - which is a good thing. Great style, but... I could not slide a CAC-style (PIV) smart card into the clear side. The slots were too narrow. It slid into the black side ok, so the holder is wide enough, but that is the side with the RFID shield. It is not one handed operation, because you can't mount or unmount the card with two hands either. Bad news if security needs to see both sides of the card, or if you need to authenticate to a non-RFID reader on your computer, you definitely don't want this. The only instructions were to not play with the safety release on the lanyard. (If you can't resist, get a fidget toy.) ... show more
