This table is nice and has a great aesthetic. Initially I was overwhelmed when I saw all the pieces/parts that came out the box; and the directions were only illustrated. With that being said, I prayed, took my time and put it together by myself! It wasn’t hard but pay attention to the diagrams because a couple of times I put parts on backwards. I am most impressed with the amount of space in the secret compartment! The manufacturer thought of everything and even provided extra screws, washers…in case you lost one. The chairs are comfortable and light weight yet they hold like 300 pounds! I thought the color( oatmeal) would be a little lighter so they're darker than the picture and I wish I would have known that but I guess it's hard to tell in a picture. Love that I can have it small when we don’t use it and when we need it large, it can expand. Perfect a small space!! Oak color is cute and works with all color schemes. If I could leave 0 stars I would. First we ordered an item that should have been new and it was completely and obviously a used or resale item. We purchased a beige brown dining table and it looked solid and sturdy in the photos but when the item came it was completely a different color and the item was cheaply and pressed wood. Similar to ikea furniture but worse. The box was intact but the item had damages and parts that did not match at all. It looks like they sent is the wrong item and when I requested a return the seller denied the item and was not helpful at all. Will not be buying from this seller again. Also contacting Amazon and disputing this because it is horrible quality and service. ... show more
