  • Best chair ever! Neck and back pain gone!
Hands down best chair ever! Better than Herman Miller. I have used many different chairs over the years and they all still left me with neck and back pain and wouldn’t be able to sit in them more than a couple hours. I decided to give this chair a try and I’m glad I did. It has been life changing. It’s super supportive and comfortable that I can sit in it all day long. It hugs you in the right spots and flexes with your movements. My shoulder blades are not being pushed inward like a lot of other chairs do and the lumbar support is the best. The footrest is a must have because it’s helps further to put you in that comfortable and supported position. I also got the upgraded wheels which feel super smooth rolling from hardwood to carpet ... show more

  • Expensive, but unlike any others
Yes, it costs more than many other chairs that sort of look alike, but it's probably the most effective posture control and comfortable chair compared to other chairs.

  • All my friends and family want my chair.
I did ever so much research before buying this. Glad I went with this version over the Pro because I do not think I would have used the fan function and I very much prefer this neutral light gray color, not offered in the Pro version. I thought I would appreciate the lumbar massage function but I do feel they mislead on this feature. Lots of different explanations out there so I will put it simply and definitively for anyone considering this chair for the sake of its massage/decompression feature. To begin, there are two battery powered features on this chair, and only two. They’re activated by two buttons on the inside of the left arm. Pressing one button will adjust the position of the lumbar support, pushing your lower back forward at varying degrees. The lowest setting is essentially no support, no pushing your back forward at all. The second button is the massage feature (or whatever they call it now) and all it does is replicate the first button continuously over several minutes, i.e., it slowly pushes your lumbar region forward, then collapses back slowly to the zero support position, then pushes forward, then collapses back, slowly, over and over. That’s it. As I use the max position on the lumbar support, I don’t actually receive any benefit from activating the ‘’massage” feature. All that does is essentially release the sustained/ static lumbar support that I value and cycle my back through an annoying series of collapse - support - collapse. I will say however that when I’m fully reclined, the massage feature is more therapeutic as it’s more lifting the lower back— there might actually be some decompression going on there. Should I have saved myself a few hundred and gotten the new SE? Possibly. But I hear it’s a much cheaper quality than this chair I got (which is considered their Original I believe). Still, with the SE you can adjust the lumbar same as with this one, only it’s a manual adjustment (no big deal IMO); the SE has an extra fixed position of recline degree (btw the recline is fantastic in both); but the SE comes only in black. Maybe they will start producing other colors. Overall very happy with this chair. Possibly overpriced but I was in a lot of low back pain before, hated sitting, yet was compelled to sit for sustained periods of time for work (still do). I am comfortable sitting in this chair for hours on end, and I LOVE reclining in it (interminable zoom calls have almost become a pleasure). I recommend pairing this with a quality sit stand desk, ideally electric with the ability to adjust to a wide continuous range of heights. I also use adjustable monitor arms that cater to my neck issues and almost completely eliminate neck pain while working. ... show more

  • I like it BUT....
(Height 5.8) (Weight 200LB) (Chair it was replacing was the Staples Hyken) I have to say that this is a comfortable chair on first first sit but I'm not going to deny that after sitting in it for a bit all the issues I had with it started to really shine through. In the end I'm going to return the chair but not because its bad or overpriced. No not in the slightest, its going back because its not for me and let me tell you why. 1. The seat feels small and its uncomfortable to bring your feet up and sit on them. this comes together to feel like I'm sliding down off the front of the chair. I bought the 48 cm Version. 2. The lumbar support stuff was just ok and actually using felt a bit weird. It made me feel like I needed to go to the bathroom, i don't know it might just be a me thing. 3. Touching on the lumbar support once again and just the over feel of the lower back area. Well its actually just a bit uncomfortable, and its not something you feal immediately as it takes a bit (little over an hour) before it starts to get uncomfortable. 4. Like every other review I have seen, I do have to agree that the arms are a little to easy to move. Trying to re adjust yourself on the chair has them moving around. I do get why its loose as they want you to easily be able to move them but this is too much. LiberNovo has already stated that they are working on a new XL version of the chair and it has been seen at events. Maybe that version will fix some of the issues I have with the chair primarily the size factor. ... show more

  • Skip it - horrible arm rests
The chair itself is excellent — very comfortable, supportive, and well-built. But the armrests are positioned too far back to be useful for mouse/keyboard work, especially gaming. Even after modifying the slider, I couldn’t get them far enough forward. I love the chair, but the armrest design is flawed enough that I can't recommend it at all. My arm hovers over the arm rests 100% of the time. I'm not sure if the designers just didn't sit in the chair before or what, but it totally ruins the experience. Back to the search for a new chair. I am sick of chairs man. ... show more

  • Best Chair Ever
Best chair I ever bought

  • Most comfortable office chair I have ever used.
The best office chair I have ever used, including a couple of Herman Millers. The battery operated lumbar doesn’t really do anything for me but that’s because the starting position is perfect. The headrest allows me to easily see my monitor even when partially reclined. I was worried that the chair didn’t have a recline lock, but the multiple stop points work well enough that I don’t miss it. 100% would buy again. ... show more

  • Small + non-adjustable seat pan and lower backrest design are holding this chair back
First, the good: The lumbar support is indeed aggressive on this chair...not perfect, just prominent...I wish it was adjustable up and down. And I hope the motor lasts...but even the manufacturer isn't confident about that, hence the 2 year warranty on electronics. But honestly, I think the actuating lumbar is the only good thing about this chair. Next, the bad: The arm rests slide back and forth way too easily...the detents are almost non-existent. The head rest needs to be able to go lower when you pull it out. The absolute worst part about this chair is the small seat pan. The seat pan is set pretty far back...if you look at it from the side, it actually starts way before the back side of the back rest. Then there is the aggressive lumbar, which eats up seat space. So, when you sit down, you've actually already lost about 1/4 of the seat. So, the seat pan being so short just doesn't feel right at all...I keep wanting to pull the seat pan out, but that is impossible on this chair. I can't sit with my feet up on the chair without severe discomfort...there is just not enough room. The extended seat cushion version doesn't really help because its just cushion without any support under it. The short non-adjustable seat pan kills the comfort on this chair. Also, I think the lowest part of the back rest needs to be set higher, leaving more of a gap between it and the seat cushion. Currently, the backrest almost touches the seat cushion. The problem is that it moves forward as you recline. I've begun to notice that the bottom of the backrest puts excess pressure on my tailbone area and just sort of wants to push me out of the seat every time I recline even a little...its not a pleasant feeling once you notice it. In fact, I think its a design flaw that the backrest just pushes on your rear, like its trying to push you off the seat, every time you recline. Finally, I actually think the cushioning on the back portion of the seat is way too hard...my rear is in pain after just an hour sitting on the hard cushion. It seems that the entirety of design team's attention went into the lumbar motor lift concept and they didn't pay attention to other things about a chair that actually matter. So, unfortunately, I don't think this chair is nearly as comfy as the reviews make it sound. ... show more
