The quality of this base is the best that I have ever had. It uses actual wood and not particle board like everyone else uses. It was easy enough to put together, we didn't even use the instructions, but it made common sense. This is by far the best quality base.

I was really shocked when I saw the box, even more shocked when I open the box, and floored when I had it all unpacked. There’s a lot of pieces. Luckily, they do have a YouTube video to watch. Without it, this bed is impossible to put together. Now that it’s together, I love it. Depending on your set up, this could be a one hour project or an all day affair. We will see how it holds up.

Pros: Easy to assemble. Took me about two hours. Very sturdy. Very well packaged with all parts clearly labeled and described in the easy to follow instructions. All required tools come packaged with parts. Wireless remote works well. Bed movement is smooth and slow. I cant speak to durability yet as I have only had the bed assembled for a few days but it is made of thick and very sturdy steel / powder coated construction. The box is very heavy at least 120 lbs. You will need two people to lift/carry. Cons: The wood provided for the top is cheap quality. Wood slats dont cover the entire base to give the mattress full support. The motors are noisier than those of higher quality adjustable beds. You pay extra for a low quality upholstered fabric top. There is no padding that goes under the fabric to protect the mattress. Its just cheap fabric over cheap wood. The thickness of the wood slat base is very misleading in the pictures, making it look like a better quality base that is padded. The bed you get is not what you see in the pictures. The only thing making the base look thick are small foam strips that you velcro to the bottom edges of the wood top, where the fabric drapes over. These foam strips make the base look thicker. They are called girth strips in the instructions. This is what they charge you an extra $40.00 USD for. It was not worth the extra money for the cheap materials provided. Save yourself the extra cash and dont get the upholstered version as the pictures are extremely misleading. Shipping took longer than normal at 10 days. I gave this product 3 stars because of the cheap wood and fabric materials and the misleading advertising costing me an extra $40.00.

This product is not great but cheaper compared to buying something similar from big stores. Installation was fairly straight forward as everything is labeled. You will need two people to instal as it is heavy. Installation - When you sit the metal frame inside their recommended wooden bed frame, there is abit of gap - see photos. Return shipment costs - Buyer beware - if you decide to return this item, the seller won't pay for the return shipment and this is a very heavy item so it will cost you.
