The snowblower came on a tractor trailer via FedEx. I opened the box and had the handle, and the discharge chute, installed without needing any tools, in about 10 minutes! NOTE: It did take a while for the batteries to get to temperature before they would charge. I already own an EGO lawn mower. It is almost comical how light and easy it is to use. I needed a snowblower but was concerned with, how can this possibly be as powerful as a gas-powered mower? This snow blower is, and is ridiculously powerful, quiet, lightweight, easy to maneuver and very much worth it! I am in Northern-Maine, and we average well over 9 feet of snow each winter. Overnight was about 5" of snow. I cleared the driveway and cut a double wide path around the house. When I finished, the batteries were still at 80% capacity! I cleared the snow off the blower outside with a small handheld broom. Then I pulled the blower up my 4 steps and onto my enclosed porch. I do not have a shed, or garage. and this snowblower is narrow enough to easily fit though back door opening to mudroom. The blower does come with a couple extra shear pins. I would recommend getting additional shear pins to have on hand as/when needed. Think about this: You will never need to buy gas, oil, change a sparkplug, filter, clear a gas line, do a tune up, drain fluids with this very awesome EGO machine. Also, if you do plan on storing the snowblower outside (no shed or garage...) remember to remove batteries after each use, to bring them indoors. This way the batteries won't get too cold being outside for prolonged period, where you would have to then bring them inside and wait for them to get up to temperature, before the charger will engage. What are you waiting for? Buy this snowblower!

I was hesitant as I always used gas blowers. Easy to put together; super easy to follow instructions and use it. Lightweight. Took me a few times to tweak it and learn. Battery life is great and easy to push especially as I get older. I had a fully charged battery and did my driveway; my walk ways; the sidewalks and my neighbors with one battery charge. Not sure amount of driveway but I have it wrapped around the back of my house too for a detached garage so plenty of driveway. The power/performance are great too!! And boy does it scrape down as low as you want. Best part a simple button to start and no gas smells!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I even got it on the prime day sale and saved - value for money.

Got two of these - one for my house and one for mom's. That gives us four batteries in case things take longer than usual. So far, we've been able to clear both the driveways without needing to change the batteries. These are tough reliable snowblowers and they really move the snow. They are easily assembled and easy to operate. I do recommend you read the user guides from cover to cover. The first time I cleared mom's driveway, I was done and had everything put away before she noticed I was there. This snowblower is very quiet, so you can get to work early in the morning. We love it.

Finally got to use this thing a couple days ago. We got about 12 inches of wet “blue” snow. This snow blower managed my driveway, my two neighbors’ driveways, their sidewalks, and my sidewalk (I live at the end of a cul-de-sac) with no issues at all. I kept it on turbo the whole time. Batteries lasted the whole time. It’s easy to use. It’s also a heavy machine, which helps push through the snow. Material wise, no issues. This is an expensive machine, but well worth it if you live up north.

Pros: It’s battery powered so quieter and no issues with starting. It does throw snow high and far. It clears my 80 foot driveway with power to spare; I’m 4 stars happy with it. Cons: The batteries are heavy and awkward to pull out for charging. They recommend not charging below 40 F so I lug them up to the house for charging and storage between storms. Working the controls is a bit of a juggle. If your drive is sloped as mine is beware that the machine may not stop moving when you release the speed lever; it could roll down the hill on its own unless you restrain it. I once slipped and fell trying to halt it. IMHO the design should incorporate an auto brake but one that can be released when you want to move the machine without motor assist. Overall I think the machine is not as rugged as the gas one it replaced. That said, it will likely last longer than I will; I’m 84. I have many other Ego tools and they are well designed but a tad fragile.

I thought this snowblower worked great and I live in Southern Maine. If the snow got to deep you most go very slow. It will shut down if its to much snow. So it has its limits but you just back up a little and restart. We had two big storms and I had to learn to go slower then my 14hp John Deere with deep snow. Anything else other then deep crusty snow was a walk in the park. Simple to put together. I have the EGO lawnmower so I have 3 batteries because they are interchangeable. So glad I bought this.

I am reviewing a 24" two stage blower with two 7.5 AH batteries. This blower is everything I hoped it would be. I have used a 24" gas Craftsman for 25 years in a heavy snow area. I love the fact that all I have to do is open the garage door and hit the start button and auger/throttle handles on the EGO. No more checking gas/oil, adjusting the choke and warming up the Craftsman. Just cleared my single lane detached garage driveway, my three car driveway (about 40' long), my neighbor's three car driveway, another neighbor's two car driveway and at least 100 yards of sidewalks. I still had over 20% left on the batteries. Snow was dry and 4" deep. I ran at full throttle and lowest auger setting without lights. I store the blower in an unheated detached garage with the batteries in it. Temp was negative 10 when I last used it. Battery charger will not work if the batteries are colder than 37 degrees, so I have to charge in the house. (Probably should keep the batteries in the house or a warmer garage because if you do ever have to recharge to finish a job, you will have to wait for them to warm up to 37 degrees.) Assembly was easy. It was delivered to my driveway with a shipping weight of right at 200# which includes packing materials and pallet. Cut the straps and the box lifts right off. The only assembly was bolting on the upper handle with four huge green bolts you hand tighten and dropping the snow exhaust chute onto a square post on top. Took me about fifteen minutes from the time I received it. I am so looking forward to a heavy, wet snow of 8" or more that we always get in the Spring. Probably can't clear half the neighborhood on one charge, but I do have a pair of 4.5 AH batteries for my EGO lawnmower that work just fine in the snow blower, so I'll be able to switch out battery sets if I care to have a marathon snow removal session. The 7.5 AH batteries also fit in the lawnmower.

First snowstorm I needed to use it was the blizzard that hit the New England state in 2026 specifically February 2026 both batteries installed and fully charged. They were 7.5A, but that's what the kit came with. doing the job and did pretty good assembly was extremely easy however battery life was far under what was expected for two large 56 V batteries being used in parallel so there's more amperage available to the motors. I think I got maybe 45 minutes to an hour on my small two car driveway granted the snow was fairly high and I was using the higher settings on the auger, but the snow wasn't super heavy and super wet, when it was plowing, it plowed rather well and shut the snow rather far but I'm a little disappointed in the battery life. I may go to 210 amp batteries and keep these as spare batteries, but I'm also a little disappointed how long it takes to charge both batteries, I also had the battery overheat warning come on as the machine went dead so it took a while to cool the batteries down before they would even charge, the interesting part is this machine although shipped brand new was built in 2024 and it is currently 2026 makes me wonder about the age of the batteries
