I am thoroughly impressed with the new EGO POWER+ 52" Z6 Zero Turn Riding Mower. This machine is both powerful and exceptionally well-built. Recently, I moved to a new home on a 2-acre rural lot, which was overrun with knee-high weeds and stubborn cactus plants. Thanks to its outstanding performance, the POWER+ 52" Z6 effortlessly cut through the thick vegetation in standard mode, making quick work of the task at hand. Even the dense, lush grass covering the septic tank couldn't stand up to the might of this mower. Its capabilities and sheer power left me in awe. Operating this mower was an absolute pleasure. It runs smoothly and quietly, unlike its gas-powered counterparts. Additionally, it offers a unique and convenient feature - an adapter at the top of the mowing blade deck that allows you to attach a hose for easy power washing after each use. Not only does this keep the mower clean and well-maintained, but it also adds to the overall convenience factor. Assembly of the mower took some time, with about an hour spent unpacking it from the metal cage it arrived in. Disassembling the crate proved to be a bit challenging, as it involved dealing with over 20 screws and bolts, some of which were not easily accessible. However, once that step was completed, putting the actual mower together was a breeze and took only around 15 minutes. The assembly primarily involved attaching the seat and handles using a total of 6 bolts. To ensure the mower was ready for action, I charged the batteries for approximately 4 hours upon delivery. The batteries had a 25% charge when they arrived. Following the instructions, I downloaded the Ego app and paired it with the mower. The app indicated the availability of a firmware update, which I promptly installed. The update process itself was quick, taking around five minutes to complete. I found it interesting that the app can serve as a key, but the mower also comes with two physical keys for starting purposes. Additionally, the app provides convenient control over speed settings, with three modes available. Sport mode offers the highest top speed at a maximum of 8mph. Furthermore, the blade speed and height can also be adjusted through the app. One minor hurdle I encountered was pairing the mower with Bluetooth in the app. It turns out that the mower should not be fully started during this process. Instead, a quick push of the power button is sufficient, without holding it for three seconds to initiate full startup. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The EGO POWER+ 52" Z6 Zero Turn Riding Mower is undeniably a top-notch machine, exuding high quality in every aspect. This mower is very powerful and well made. It is very comfortable and has a really cool feature that you can hook a hose up to this adapter at the top of mowing blade deck and power wash it after each use. It took me about an hour to unpack the mower from the metal cage it came. You have to take the metal crate apart which is over 20 screws and bolts and some are not easy to get to, which took awhile. Putting the actual mower together only took about 15 minutes. You just have to put the seat and handles on which is only about 6 bolts total. Charging the batteries took about 4 hours, the batteries had about 25% when they arrived. I downloaded the Ego app and paired it with the mower as the instructions stated their may be firmware updates available. There was a firmware update available on mine and the update took about five minutes to complete. You can actually use the app as the key, or it comes with two keys you need to start the mower. You can control your speed if you are new to zero turn mowers and it has three modes that determine top speed with Sport being the fastest at 8mph max. You can also control the blade speed and height. For those of you having issues pairing the mower with bluetooth in the app, you can't have the mower completely started. This means only push the power button quickly, do NOT hold for three seconds to fully start. My only complaint is you are left with this bulky metal crate at the end. Thankfully we get two items of bulk trash pickup for free each week in addition to our trash cans. For those that don't get free bulk pickup, you will be stuck trying to figure out how to dispose of this metal crate. Overall very happy with the purchase as it is definitely a high quality mower. You can tell Ego put a lot of time in the design and some the of the features such as the ability to charge your phone.

The EGO Power+ 52" Zero Turn Riding Mower is a game-changer for me. Its powerful performance, smooth zero-turn steering, and expansive 52-inch cutting deck make mowing fast and efficient. The ride is comfortable, the controls are intuitive, and the electric powertrain means no gas, no noise, and low maintenance. It's a premium price for an eco-friendly choice that I recommend to homeowners with large yards. I added the mulching attachment to my mower. With the blades set to the third fastest speed, I can mow my .8 acre yard three times on a single charge.

Scored this EGO ZT5207L 52" zero-turn on a Prime flash sale for $5,500 (six 12Ah batteries included—insane value for up to 4 acres of quiet, powerful mowing). The performance lives up to the hype: Smooth lap-bar steering, clean cuts at 8 MPH, and zero gas hassle. Assembled the replacement in under 2 hours, and it's a joy for my overgrown yard—no complaints on the build quality once swapped. But the original unit arrived defective: A frame post for the seat mount had poor machining, stripping two bolts on assembly. EGO support was a letdown—after two days of radio silence, they suggested replacing the entire seat assembly (DIY nightmare) or hauling my 800-lb mower to a service center (no pickup offered). Felt nickel-and-dimed on a $6K product.Amazon, though? Heroes. Instant replacement approval, free shipping for the new one (FedEx nailed it), and a hassle-free return process. Maersk (their pickup contractor) was the low point—scheduled for Wednesday, ghosted me, trapped in an endless automated loop, and only slotted Saturday after I finally reached a human. Unprofessional all around.Product gets 5 stars; support ecosystem docks it to 4. Buy with a strong return policy like Amazon's.

I know a few acres on a charge with no problem. There is a specific 4 step sequence you have to follow to get it to move forward. Also, there may be a point where it seems to freeze up as it seems to be logic board driven vs mechanical. Only once did I have to disconnect the batteries to reboot it. And that’s the simple is pressing the button by each one of the five battery packs in the back, which are easily accessible and there’s a good chance because of my ignorance operating a machine because the problem. Overall, it’s excellent. Super quiet and you shouldn’t have any problems with it.

First off, unboxing was a chore. Just keep in mind, you may need to set aside an afternoon just to do that. Assembly wasn't too bad, but it still took about a half an hour to do. Operation is FUN! Man this mower moves. And it is very comfortable to sit on. I'm 6 ft and 280 lbs and it fit me just fine. I love the adjustable seat and adjustable lap bars. This and the other quality of life features built in is just crazy . Thanks to EGO for making such a great product! 4/4/2026 update This mower has become my main vehicle I use on my property. I have hills, trails and fields to mow as well as other chores. This mower still works just as well as when I bought it. In fact, I liked it so much, I bought a second last year so my boys could help me with mowing duties. Issues I've had: Don't drive it into a pond... I was able to get it fixed and the warranty covered it. It was an accident, and I wasn't being reckless, but still my bad and not a fault of the mower. I have had one battery go bad. I have needed to replace one of the guide wheels, but I am necessarily rough with my mower because of the type of property I have. I've had a couple of flat tires, but easily fixed. Have needed to retighten the seat screws a few times. That's it. I have beat my mowers half to death with all the use I give them. I don't think a similarly priced gas mower would have lasted this long. I would have burned up a transmission or had other issues. That's what my neighbors have to deal with all the time. This is an excellent mower.

I had high expectations for the mower at the start, due to prior purchases of EGO products. At the mower was doing grant and I was able mow the entire lawn (less the 3 acres). That was last fall. Then this spring the mower has not been able to keep up with a thick spring grass. I am lucky to get an hours worth of mowing, with frequent stops due to the blades getting clogged. Overall, this is very disappointing and it is very telling that the brand is now released a new model with a lower minimum acreage.

Arrived a day later than expected. The mower shifted on the crate and caused some scratches, but nothing major. Everything was included and only minor assembly required. (Seat and laterals) The mower has a lot of options that are fairly intuitive and mows even and comfortably. It took me half the time to cut my lawn as with my Cub Cadet ZT1 Ultima. I only wish they made a stripping kit for it. The batteries didn’t hold as long as advertised, but that could change as I get use to the equipment nuances. Love it!
