My gas blower was starting to leak and hard to start so I decided to try one with battery power. These are a little pricey and weigh about the same as the old one but sure is nice to just stick in a battery and pull the trigger. I blows with more force than the old one and the battery lasts long enough to clean up my back yard, patio, side walk, garage, driveway and front porch with plenty of battery left. I'm happy with it. This EGO unit, two batteries and rapid charger was expensive but worth it. I have cut my leaf blowing time in half, due to long battery life and higher mph/cfm. The weight is about equal to a gas powered blower, but glad to be rid of the gas powered maintenance. Turbo mode even allowes me to blow dry cars after car wash. ... show more

I upgraded my previous Ego as I wanted something to dry my new car. This thing definitely does the trick. I recommend having an extra battery as they last about 15 minutes each (I keep it on turbo mode)

The technology is here! This blower works on my 1.5 acre property. I use it each week or at least twice a month. I am very impressed. No problems with batteries or charging. The rapid charger is incredibly fast. Just remember to not charge or use the battery until is cools down to room temperature (for longevity). ... show more
