I recently purchased the Wave 3 and have been using it for a few weeks now. It has really exceeded my expectations. I own other EcoFlow devices as well and went ahead and bought the EcoFlow Extra Battery Cable and am using the EcoFlow Delta Max to power it and it is working perfectly. This setup has really changed the way I manage off-grid cooling for my small shop. The cooling performance is phenomenal for a portable unit. The Wave 3 drops the temperature impressively fast and maintains it without loud noise or clunky operation. I am very happy with it! The integration is also very nice and monitoring power consumption through the EcoFlow app is super convenient. This combo has been a huge win for me when it comes to portable cooling. The Wave 3 is a solid backup for unexpected heat waves. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, off-grid cooling solution for smaller spaces.

Purchased the ecoflow wave 3 from amazon Us. Had it forwarded to my country. I didnt expect that the unit would be non functioning from the factory. Error 38. The fan on the cooling side is completely jammed up. And will not move . I was surprised that ecoflow doesnt have a global warranty, as per their explanation. So i have to fly the unit back to them at my Expense. Which will exceed $500 usd. By the time it’s delivered. So, in the end, i will have to spend over $500 to get my $800 refund on a unit that never worked. I decided not to try a replacement unit. Because there is no guarantee it will work as well. I have purchased many ecoflow products before, and currently aswell. Now i am afraid that i will not have any customer support for any of their products because i live in central american country. And this Makes any warranty support non existent unless i send it back to the US. Very disappointing. Not sure if ill be supporting this brand anymore . If not using in the US, Buyer Beware!

We live in hurricane alley, and power outages happen when storms come through. But sleeping in a hot bedroom in Florida is miserable. I have a Wave1 already and it works well, and I skipped the wave2 because the 1 worked well enough. But we wanted another AC unit. Since the HOA doesn’t allow window units, I pulled the trigger on the wave 3. I can tell they addressed some of the issues like the fur filter to keep dog hair out of it, and it’s easier to carry around then the wave 1, and feels sturdy. You won’t knock it over be accident. It blows nice cold air and I was able to hook it up to my delta 2 max and extra battery simultaneously, giving me about 11 hours of runtime. On max it was drawing 400w of power, so it’s definitely a thirsty device. But worth some solar and propane/generator time to sleep at night. I wil probably pick up the battery since I see they went LifePO but for now, happy wife, happy life! As for the noise, it’s not bad. I kinda like the white noise. On eco mode it’s noticeably quieter. The one downside is the installation. It comes with a template for the window cutouts rather than an actual window kit. For this price, I have to say that’s an annoyance. At least sell one that I can buy instead of having to goto Home Depot and figure it out. But it’s a minor thing and I already had to do it with my wave 1. Overall, I like being able to use my existing equipment, and not having to use the AC inverter of my batteries, keeping the overhead down, and my comfort levels up!

I bought the Ecoflow Wave 3 for my overland camping trip. It worked when it first arrived from Amazon, but the heater didn't work at all for our tent. Nothing I did turned the heat on, and we slept quite fitfully in temps just above freezing. After returning home I tested it quite thoroughly. To my amazement I found it works great, but you need to let it run for about 10 minutes before the heat finally turns on! It would have been nice to know that beforehand. It’s quiet. The app control works great. Just deal with 10 minutes of cold air before the heat comes on!

Amazing little device. I was looking for something versatile to cover multiple scenarios: RV living, and single room conditioning in my home. Using the central HVAC was causing massive energy bills, so I was looking for a solution to lower the cost. Enter EcoFlow's Wave 3 portable air conditioner/heat pump. I tried it in my large master bedroom, and it was able to bring my room to unbearably cold temperatures. Of course, I won't normally turn it that low, but the increase to 6100 cooling BTU is a massive improvement from its predecessor, the Wave 2. The heat pump function is efficient too, maxing out at only around 500w (compared to 1-1.5kw on traditional space heaters). It added some toastiness to a cold room, and with powerful fans, it was able to circulate the heat well. A few bonus features that surprised me were the auto shut-off timer and new pet care mode that let's you keep the device operating within a certain temperature to keep pets comfortable and safe. The drainage problem of the previous Wave 2 seems to have been fixed as well, and the new insulated hoses (as opposed to non-insulated ones for the Wave 2) do a much better job of not radiating heat into the room when undesired. Controlling the unit from the EcoFlow app is intuitive and full-featured too. Incredibly useful! But the physical buttons on the unit itself offer the majority of the functions with a nice, bright LED screen. Finally, the upgrade to the new LFP battery is a much welcome addition. NCM (Wave 2) only has 800 cycles before dropping to 80% capacity, but the LFP has 4,000 cycles before that happens. The new battery also comes with a carry handle, so it's more convenient. However, a nice touch is that both the W2/W3 batteries work with both W2/W3.

Do not buy this. I purchased it for my conversion van, expecting it to handle basic temperature control during the summer. It was 82°F inside my van, and this thing couldn’t cool it down at all. Now it’s winter, and I figured I’d at least use it as a heater — but it can’t even raise the temperature from 68°F to a simple 70°F. For its size and the amount of power it draws, it should perform significantly better. Instead, it’s basically useless. Save your money and look elsewhere.

I purchased the Wave 3 to help extend our camping season beyond June, especially in the hotter climates. With this unit, I’m hoping to comfortably enjoy our favorite camping spot in Baja and hopefully land some trophy fish from my kayak. So far, I’ve tested the unit with both our rooftop tent and small off-road trailer and it’s been performing exceptionally well. I was able to bring the temperature inside the tent down by 20 degrees in just 20 minutes. Impressively, the unit never even reached full power, peaking at only 365 watts on AC. Update: We just got back from a three-day camping trip with our off-road trailer. Despite triple-digit temperatures, the Wave 3 kept us cool and comfortable the entire time.
