I recently purchased the Ecoflow Delta Pro, and I have to say that it has exceeded my expectations as a backup generator for my home. With its impressive power output, this device can easily power all of my home appliances in the event of a power outage. One of the things I love about the Ecoflow Delta Pro is the smart generator feature. When the battery on the Delta Pro runs low, the generator automatically starts up to recharge it, which is incredibly convenient. This means that I don't have to worry about constantly monitoring the battery levels or manually starting the generator. Overall, I'm very impressed with the Ecoflow Delta Pro and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable backup generator for their home. It's efficient, easy to use, and provides plenty of power to keep everything running smoothly during an outage.

Generator: Great that it uses gas and LPG, both being readily available. I have not used gasoline yet since efficiency is better with LPG, and prices don't warrant the switch. Operation is a bit noisy, but comparable to most generators. Power output for the size is reasonable, though make sure it will meet your needs. It's not going to work for heavy usage. I've been using the generator with battery a job site (house remodel) for over a month. I'm able to run a diesel heater, pancake compressor, LED work lights, and a 15 amp saw without issue, and over a normal days use, see about 50-60% of the battery depleted. The battery has an internal fan which kicks on any time it's supplying power or charging. That could be a bit quieter, as I typically charge it overnight. By default, the unit is set to fast charge. A simple switch changes it to charge at 400w. My only complaint so far is the app, required for most configuration, requries you to create a cloud account to log in. EcoFlow support says login is only occasionally required so you can still use it offline (as long as you can get online to log in when it is requried). For a system that is intended to be used in off-grid senarios, the mandatory tie in to a cloud account is a major issue. For me, this system is never used in a location that has internet access. For this reason, I've not been able to see what advanced configurations are available. My use has been limited to the buttons and screens on the battery and generator themselves. It would be really nice if Eco-Flow would allow the app to connect via bluetooth (which it dose already) without the need for internet or a cloud account (except for optional software updates if desired). The battery unit is heavy. Which is to be expected. The wheels and handle work alright indoors, but count on picking it up if it ever goes outside. There is very little ground clearance. A small internal heater would be a welcome upgrade. Being able to leave the battery unit in an unheated space in the winter is a no go, limiting it's usefulness and making mobility even more important. Overall, the functionality, ease of use, and portability are a bit better than many of the alternative options, but for that you will make a few sacrifices. For example, the Lycan is big and heavy, but has no internet requirement, and is fully user upgradable, so it will have a longer useful life, but good luck getting it up the stairs single handed. A 1500w space heater will run for about 2 - 2.5 hours on battery alone.

Only able to use power station when power went for 24hrs however, good to have fuel/propane charger in case need to recharge. The comp ability in recharging is very useful in many way. Also can use dual for power tools if needed.

Great product! I've added this to my off-grid airplane hangar, enough power for three lights, engine heater and wifi router. The app works great, and I can check on status of the battery any time. There price seemed to be high at the first glance, but when I tried to calculate the diy project with similar features and battery capacity, I was just off couple hundred dollars, which I was fine with because ecoflow is more convenient, easy, portable than any dyi

The media could not be loaded. The smart generator runs well and the Delta pro does take a full charge from solar and from AC in my house. However, when I connected the Delta pro to the smart generator the generator charging trips off the generator unless I scale back the charging rate to 1400 W on the app it will trip off anything above 1400 Watts. when i have cell coverage and can use app that’s ok not perfect but ok however i was camping in an area with no cell service and could not adjust charging rate on generator so it was useless to charge the Delta pro😣 thankfully a friend had a 3000 watt Honda generator that I used to charge the Delta pro so i could augment my trailer batteries. so evidently the smart generator for some reason can’t keep up with the draw of the Delta pro . i was running the smart generator on propane so that could be an issue with less generating power however it seems like they should have taken that possibility into account !! Thankfully the Honda was there 🤔for some reason I can’t get an answer from EcoFlow. I’ve sent them videos and emails. I got two responses initially but I haven’t heard anything from them for several weeks now. Not sure what’s going on customer service seems to be way behind. not happy after dropping almost $4000.00 it should be more user friendly in my opinion. UPDATE 10/2/23. Customer service has been helpful and i am gaining confidence that we will resolve the charging issue. i am raising my rating and probably even more when the problem gets fully diagnosed .

Out of the box, the battery was dead, so let's start it and allow it to recharge. Unfortunately, it doesn't start using the gas option. When I connected the LP, it started but only lasted 15 minutes or less. I'm frustrated, and support is via email, requiring several hoops to go through just to get an answer. This unit costs over $1,000 more than other gas generator brands, which is disappointing; I'm frustrated that Amazon does not have a return policy. If Ecoflow corrects this, I will update this review.
