I do like the fact that this tool telescopes. It is very handy to be able to collapse it down to a size that fits in your pocket. I also love that there are several different colored flags that come with it. The main things I would change on this tool are; make the flags a little more sturdy by reinforcing the grommets that attach to the snap on the stick. They tore from the flag after the 2nd time I used it. The next thing would be the triangular ring that holds the snap onto the stick , keeps coming off. The company needs to make that , a solid ring, like a key ring, with a sturdier snap. While I love the idea behind how this tool works, it is certainly not durable enough for me. I'm a horse trainer by trade and my tack and equipment are thoroughly used every day. I need to do a couple of things to shore this tool up before it will suit my purposes.

The triangular clip that holds the flag to the pole pops out way too easy. I sometimes lose the flag and have to reassemble it in the middle of a training session. Not ideal at all, but it's fixable with a little ingenuity.

I got this to use with my young horse - to get him to move out of my space, stall, etc. It's very handy and collapsible and comes with several replacement flags. I'm still on the first flag - even though my youngster tried to eat it once! It's also easy to collapse and put in your pocket to take with you...

The metal rod is sturdy but light. The flags look to be durable. I love the colors. One of the flags can hook onto the rod both top and bottom. I love working with my horses with this training tool. Comes with several flags and clips. The triangle wire clip at the top did pull apart but was easily fixed.
