I first discovered this on TikTok Shop and thought it would make a fun and unique sensory filler for my classroom bin. However, it was way overpriced there, so I found a better deal—two boxes of eight for around $30. I used it to create a smaller sensory bin, and I found that four jars were plenty for a compact setup. The colors mix beautifully, and the kids are absolutely fascinated by how the pluffle moves on its own with just a little push—that was their favorite part! It’s not like playdough, but you can mold it into shapes, and it stays that way until you touch it again, then it starts shifting on its own, which is so fun to watch. The only downside is that it can stick to you if you’re not careful, but it’s super easy to clean up and never dries out. My students could play with this for as long as I let them without getting bored. Just add a few small toys, and their imagination takes over! These foam squishies are a good alternative to the kinetic sand and play dough. They never dry out and the colors can be used on top of each other to make lots of fun designs. This is great for sensory kids as well as just a fun toy without a lot of cleanup. I love the multicolor pack!

My kids go crazy for this stuff. I love the way they just sit down with it and crate whatever their little imaginations come up with. It doesn't have scent like other products. The color variety is fun. The foam is stimulating and keeps the kids calm and entertained. The price is great. When I tried to buy the Play-Doh version, i noticed it was much more expensive. Great for Sensory Seeking Kiddos! What can I say? My preschoolers LOVE floam! It gives them an alternative to sand and playdough. Pros: Great colors, and the colors do not mix. If you put red and blue together, the pieces stay red and blue and do not make purple. Colors also do not come off on your hands. No smell. Does not clump. Provides a great sensory outlet for sensory seeking kiddos. There's also more in the canister than you think. Floam "grows" once you take it out of the canister. Cons: It doesn't clump. I did not buy it for that property, but if you were looking for something that will clump together, Floam is not it. It is difficult to clean up. I used it in a tray for my preschoolers. Not a good idea. Needed something with sides, so I bought some trays from Target's Bright Room line, and they worked well. Once you've mixed the colors, it's over. They will always be mixed. So, if you want to keep your colors pure, you may need to buy more than one multipack. ... show more

Purchased as Christmas gift for 7 yrs old. She has had such a blast with this. And even mixed them. Our toddler plays with them also. Non toxic is a plus. they do not dry out. Beautiful colors. No nasty smells. Fun for allllll ages!

    • Very Messy and Skin Irritant

I received this product today and was super excited to use it. I bought it with the intent of using it as a stress ball/fidget item. This product, however, has caused me a lot of stress instead of relieving it. For starters, it is rock hard upon opening. It is a five to ten minute process of massaging each section of Playfoam to even get it to a point of usability. From that point, it becomes EXTREMELY messy. Little foam balls began sticking to my hands once the product becomes malleable. It would take several frustrating minutes of picking the little pieces off before I could put away each section of Playfoam. Additionally, each time that I would play with the Playfoam I would end up with a significant layer of the adhesive that’s used to keep the foam together on my hands. However, the MOST frustrating part of this product is the irritation thatcher skin on my hands developed immediately afterwards. My hands began to burn, itch, and feel tight about fifteen minutes into my interaction with the Playfoam. Despite washing my hands several times and applying OTC hydrocortisone cream, my hands STILL feel massively uncomfortable, even though it’s been eight hours since I had contact with the product. As a result of the irritation, I am now unable to accomplish any of the plans that I had for my day as I have to keep reapplying cream to my hands and then wear cotton gloves in between applications of the cream in order to stave off the intense discomfort that I feel. Frustratingly, the packaging is basically unable to be reassembled upon opening so now I am stuck with a product that I’m allergic to. This was a total waste of money.
