I love this lamp. It was easy to set up right out of the box without reading any instructions. I love the different settings for the intensity - either a super-bright cool setting (for reading, doing crafts, etc.) or a very soft, warm glow that I use routinely at bedtime while winding down. The lamp is very delicate looking but is very sturdy and is easy to adjust in any direction. The remote is fantastic. I wasn't sure I'd use it, but it's just out of reach near my bed, so I keep the clicker on the nightstand and use it all the time to turn it on and off. The base is heavy so the lamp is very sturdy and won't tip, even on carpeting when you pull the head of it in different directions to adjust it. Still, you can carry it quite easily with one hand. I was skeptical about this lamp but was impressed by the reviews. So now I have to add myself to the fans raving about how they love this thing. I recently purchased 2 similar floor lamps that I was very happy with. When I needed a third lamp I found this one for about 30% less cost. Turns out it is about 100% better quality and function. Much brighter, easier to set light levels, all with smaller footprint and a remote control and choice of 3 different finish colors. I can't speak to durability yet but seems well made. They do need to improve packaging. I was a little concerned it was damaged upon arrival, but it was fine. Would definitely purchase again. ... show more

Love this lamp. It could not have been easier to assemble. All the different degrees of light are great. Remote control is really nice. Delivery was fast. I like the weighted base. Not flimsy at all. Very sturdy. Good quality. And the price was very good for as well as the lamp is made.
