This does hold my 4c hair throughout the day, but I have to layer it with other products. And if used repeatedly it gives a white cast. Other than that, it’s an alright hair gel. (and does not hold edges)

I use this to braid my husbands thick 3c/4a hair and it has worked wonders. The 1st time using it, his hair stayed intact for almost 2 weeks and he works out/runs daily being a fitness instructor for the fire department, which means he sweats ALOT. I always used “Let’s Jam” before finding this product and his hair would start to frizz up and come out in less than a week. The consistency of this product is very thick, sticky and has a strong hold. My only drawback would be the size. I wish the jar was bigger, but I must say - a little bit goes a long way.
