  • Soil prep and watering is key for good germination
Style: Midwest Wildflower Size: 1/4 Pound
Love these seeds! Container grown in zone 5b. I typically sow them around Mother's Day. Not uncommon to see germination begin in a few days, with flowers starting around late June. By mid-July, things really start to pop. Alot of corn flowers, coreopsis and cosmos in the mix and I sprinkle in some zinnia seeds and a sunflower seed or two. If the weather cooperates, I'll get blooms from July through late October :) Soil prep and watering are key: just because they are wildflowers doesn't mean you can just chuck them on the ground and expect good results. Sprinkle them into loose soil, press them into the soil with your hand or shoe to get good seed to soil contact, then dust them with a light layer of peat or potting mix to help keep them stay put when watering. Happy growing! ... show more

  • They will germinate!
Style: All Perennial Size: 1/4 Pound
Very happy! Every pot of these seeds I planted all germinated and are growing great! Cannot wait until they all bloom.

  • Not one flower came up.
Style: All Perennial Size: 1/4 Pound
These arrived with the date of 2025 and I expected them to do well. My brother is very knowledgeable about planting and preparing the soil. I water as directed by my brother and not one flower came up. I will never purchase or recommend these to anyone.

  • Colorful. Highly recommended, I'd buy them again.
Style: Southeast Wildflower Size: 5 Pounds
Second year flowers are much nicer than the first year; the plants needed to get established to bloom at their full glory. But these are the first wild flowers I ever planted. I've no idea how these compare to other wildflower seeds; no basis for comparison. But in July of the second season since I started planting these, despite seeding a bit later than I meant to each year, I've got immense patches of color where there were none before. So happy that I bought a second package of seeds from Eden brothers. I wonder if packages of every one of the separate varieties of flowers are available? I'd love to plant batches of only one kind of these along a pathway to enjoy each variety growing by itself. ... show more

  • Long term review.
Style: Midwest Wildflower Size: 1 Pound
I purchased the Midwest wildflower mix in the summer of 2022, planted in the fall of 2022, and am writing this review summer 2025. Location is NE Kansas. Fall planting involved tilling the soil, broadcasting the seed, then rolling with a makeshift cultipacker. Had good results the next spring, especially with the annuals lots of cornflowers (which have reseeded themselves and come back every year) in the mix. The following years more and more perennials have been blooming. The pictures shown include the first summer 2023, and then summer 2025 with the deer. Happy with this mix, will be buying again and making our wildflower area larger. One other side note, I do mow them off in the fall when they turn brown, I think this helps distribute the seed for the next spring. Another side note, the pictures do show some native plants like sweet clover that I don’t think are part of this mix. Final side note, we have bee hives near our wildflower garden and they love it, lots of pollinators everywhere and everyday. ... show more

  • NOT full sun
Style: Southwest Wildflower Size: 1 Pound
I planted most of the seeds in full sun a couple months ago. The seeds closest to shade are growing a lot, those with a little shade so-so and the ones I planted in the full sun never sprouted. They were all planted from the same batch at the same time and have been watered by yours truly daily. You'll see from the photo that the further away from the sun they are the shorter they become until there are none in the full sub. ... show more

  • Not many variety nor colors in the flowers.
Style: All Perennial Size: 1/4 Pound
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I picked this product because of the variety of flowers. However, I only have two types of flowers growing. The purple and a white. I have bought wildflower seeds in the past from other companies with so many different colors and varieties. This is not what is advertised. ... show more

  • Foxglove, anyone?
Style: Pacific Northwest Wildflower Size: 1/4 Pound
Foxglove galore. I purchased 2 bags of the PNW wildflower mix Apr 24. I planted both kinda sloppily. I do think birds ate the majority of the seeds. The first year I had no growth. This year, I got 10-15 amazing foxglove plants. I am completely OK with that because I absolutely love foxglove. I would recommend these seed, strictly for the foxglove. I would also recommend sowing the seeds correctly. ... show more
