Do not buy this product. This is my third icemaker in three years and the worst most expensive yet the worst. I was really excited about this one and I take good care of my things and as far as cleaning goes, even though I live alone, it gets cleaned at least once a week if not three times, but after the first week, it didn’t matter it was never quiet. It never worked right from the beginning, but at least it worked now I get about a4 to a half a cup of ice from it a day the little thing don’t spit around that’s why it doesn’t dump it out. I have to babysit it and I’m 77 years old. I can’t babysit it and stay there staring at the wheel around so I can dump the ice so it can refill so all those things. The reviews look pretty good that would convince me to buy. It is a guy from China his review on it. He explained everything so clearly it was. I was very excited. Also, I’m supposedly a prime member, but I found out that even though Amazon is charging me monthly fees to be a prime member, they don’t consider me a prime member so I got it during prime time right before Christmas and I I didn’t get the price for primetime. I paid almost $500 for this piece of crap I am so disappointed please don’t buy it and 77-year-old EMILY can’t get out to take things to to drop it off at us drop by and I tried calling somebody but you can’t get a hold of nobody in the United States. got a hold of somebody in Nigeria and they said we don’t know any United States number to give you but no we can’t send you a ticket to put on the box to send it back cause I used it could do that at least but no Amazon don’t do that anymore. They just put all their things over to the other side of the world this Case Nigeria, where they don’t speak good English and no, we don’t do that. No no we can’t give you somebody in America and I says it’s it’s legal. It’s so illegal for you not to give me somebody in America so I’m just upset with the whole thing. I am just totally done. I’m going to Walmart and pick one out in person whenever my son can take off work and take me there cause he lives in another town and works at another town so I have to wait for him to help me out with everything.

Wonderful product. I tried six different ice makers, and this is the best. I modified mine to add a floater so I do not have to fill the water tank manually. It is quieter than most I tried, but occasionally it mixes ice and makes noise. Overall I am very happy. Finally, unending ice and water. No leaks, ice is awesome, production fits a family of five, and low noise.

UPDATED 9/16/2025: Multiple instances of the dispenser stuck "on" when light on panel shows it should be off. We've tried tapping again to turn on dispenser (light flashes) and again to turn off (light stays on solid) and ice keeps coming...overflowing the cup, onto the counter and floor. Additionally, a LOT of wasted water noted as the drip tray needs to be emptied every couple of days. This is not the result of ice sitting on the grate and melting, this is water draining from inside the machine into the tray. Has overflowed and filled the counter on more than one occasion. Reduced star rating to 1 even though it makes great ice. The noted issues are causing me to start shopping for a replacement, and not even a year old. Avoid this machine! ORIGINAL: Have been using it for a few weeks and ice is great, easy to fill tank, ability to schedule it to start and stop every day is great. Not so great…the idea to have the ice dispense “button” on the control panel blink slowly while dispensing! The control panel is smooth with lights at areas which are touch sensitive, no physical buttons, no demarcation when the individual lights are off. Three times one of us has hit the water dispense button (which is in the same area of the panel) when trying to stop the ice because the ice button is off/invisible, leading to ice overflowing PLUS water filling up cup, then hitting whichever button is lit, and not seeing the water or ice stop reflexively hitting the button again turning the water or ice back on. Today finally hit the power button as it was hard to tell what was on and buttons being dark. If it happened to one of us might think it was just that person, but two rational adults have had the same circumstance multiple times…design flaw.

I will update this review as needed but for now, I'll list the major cons with this ice maker machine. Cleaning the water tank and the slot where the water tank sits is a constant daily chore because of how messy the machine gets as you remove the water tank. When you remove the water tank from the machine, both the spout that is connected to the water pump and the recirculation water drain from above drip water. In order to prevent mold and bacteria build up, you need to make sure the water tank area is completely dry. This is a huge pain point. For some reason the TDS reading increases from ~90 original TDS (using pitcher filtered water) to 120-130 TDS as the ice melts and recirculates back into the water tank. I ran 5 cleaning cycles using filtered water and the TDS started from ~90 TDS and then still increased to ~130 TDS after the ice started to melt. Per the instructions, you need to run at least 2 cleaning cycles and empty the water tank AND the water from the machine using the detachable hose. After each cleaning cycle finished (5 minutes each), I would empty the water tank and also empty the machine using the detachable hose on the back of the machine. Even after running 5 cleaning cycles, I still found white particles in my drinks. After finding the white particles in my drinks, I decided to completely rinse out the ice storage compartment from the top-opening lid. Obviously this meant water getting everywhere but I needed to make sure this compartment wasn't generating the white particles in my ice. Needless to say this has been very annoying and worrisome. The cleaning cycle doesn't really rinse the ice storage compartment well at all. It's literally a tiny, gentle stream of water that only takes care of the ice making compartment and the internal hosing most likely. The part of the machine where the ice is stored is a rotating platform with a top lid that you can open to see the ice. I poured filtered water into this compartment in order to clean it out since the tiny, gentle stream of water doesn't wash the rotating platform at all. Needless to say, this compartment is open to the outside air which is not sanitary and a huge downside for keeping the compartment sealed as much to keep the ice from melting. I can't believe they thought this would be a good idea instead of trying to seal the ice storage compartment as much as possible. For $400, this ice machine is very underwhelming. I only hope the price reflects the ease of cleaning which I will need to eventually do to descale the ice maker. The app itself isn't on par with something that costs $400 but you do have remote access as long as you setup the WiFi for the ice maker. Unfortunately the ice maker is only able to connect to a WiFi network on the 2.4Ghz band. The app and the ice maker machine will not connect to any 5Ghz by design so that's clearly a cheap quality for such an expensive product. The QR code on the plastic film that was on the touch panel when this device shipped links to a completely different app. Very unprofessional. I'm not sure if this is a Chinese company but it's clear from the someone unprofessionalism. The touch panel should at least literally flash the screen and say "cleaning" or "making ice" instead of using only illuminated icons. As with any ice machine, the machine sucks in air from the left side of the machine (if you're looking at the touch panel) with a fan and exhausts the warm air from the right side of the machine. Unfortunately though, there is no removeable mesh screen to prevent lint and dust build up in your system. You will need to make a DIY solution to prevent dust from eventually destroying your machine from build up. Yes, you need to put a mesh screen on the intake side to at least ensure your ice maker machine doesn't suffocate after being used for several months if not over a year. The machine will eventually go into standby mode by itself after several hours after it has made a full batch of ice. There is no way to force it to constantly make ice and prevent it from going into standby mode if no one has requested for ice. It will eventually make more ice if it is still in it's "ice storage full" mode but the unseen timer starts once the "ice storage full" mode and then the machine just stops making ice. The light option only shows for the water tank and to see the water level. If you want the light for the dispenser for ice or water, you have to dispense water or ice. It's annoying that you can't just have both lights on all of the time. The light for the tank eventually shuts off by itself with no option to keep it or the dispenser light on 24/7. Overall, this is the most expensive ice machine I've ever purchased and I'm disappointed that the entire machine does not live up to its $400 price tag. The constant maintenance, the poorly designed cleaning cycle, the cheap touch panel, the messy operation, the somewhat unsealed ice storage compartment, the not so great app. If this was $200 or so, sure, it'd be worth it. Yes, the ice type is a cylindrical nugget and chewable but you're not buying an ice maker only for to make ice for a few months. You buy an ice maker so that you can make ice, keep it for as long as possible, and not have to constantly make more several times a day because the machine shuts off after an unknown amount of hours of not dispensing ice. Sure, you can put the ice in your freezer but it would have be better if the machine had a storage compartment that would actually properly insulated, not completely open to the outside air. Yes, you don't reach into the machine to get the ice which is also a good thing for sanitary reasons. However, that is somewhat negated by the ice storage section being open to the outside air from the dispenser spout.

If only we had tested it during the product return window we would've saved a lot of money. Problem One: The water tank would not stay inserted. I fixed this with Velcro strap.This was a design flaw and had nothing to do with the next problem. Problem Two: The tank spigot leaked because the silicon sleeve seal was installed backwards and didn't have enough food grade lubricant on it, if any. The ridges on the seal have an inclined side and a flat side. The inclined side is supposed to face towards the hole. I fixed that and spent an afternoon looking for food grade lubricant. Problem Three: It worked for about two weeks before the ice dispenser flap door quit returning to home with a good seal. This would cause the ice to melt and trickle out into the catch basin and usually overflow on the counter. The solution was to unplug the machine briefly and plug it back to reset. This let us use the machine successfully for about 2 to 3 months before the next problem came along, but with constant nuisance and hassle of repositioning a heavy appliance each time and struggling with a hard to remove electricalplug. Problem Four: Next problem was caused by the previous problem. The repeated cycles of melting ice also meant refreezing cycles of the water that collected in the bottom of the ice basket around various mechanisms. This meant when there was ice again that the motor would ramp up torque to break loose,putting increased strain, wear and tear on the gears and levers. Hence the gearbox finally failed. It would only rotate back-and-forth within a 4 inch range. Whereas it should've rotated back-and-forth much further and the Complete revolutions while dispensing ice. Now, all we have is an icemaker/water dispenserwith a lid on top to manually remove ice, if we want to. But it's a real hassle scooping ice out of the top with a soup ladle and we don't use the water dispenser, because well we pour it from a bottle anyway. So I'm gonna try and sell it on eBay to someone who might want it or give it to Goodwill barring that. But I must say the worst part about this bad experience was the black hole effect of getting sucked into each problem and resetting after each oneas they started small and got worse each time. Lost money, lost time, lost energy. A very, very regrettable purchase. Even with problems one through three, I expected this machine to last longer. However if we had returned it after problem one, we never would've known about the remaining problems. So we might've tried another one of their machines, which look very nice, but at this point I'm not very likely to buy anything again from this company or its parent company. I will probably go back to established retail brands that have good product support, repair services, and parts availability for when need them.

This is okay. I bought this thinking it also filtered the water but it doesn’t so I should have just purchased a regular ice machine instead. If you end up not using all of the ice, it melts and doesn’t re-enter the water reservoir. It instead drips into the water tray leaving water all over the place. We leave a cup underneath the dispenser to prevent this and constantly have to dump water out. There are probably better products out there.

An amazing product. I absolutely love this ice maker. It is probably the best ice maker I have ever used. The speed that it produces ice is okay. Don't expect it to be able to produce enough ice for a party. But if you have a family of three or four it's good. I absolutely love to touch screen. It is so easy to use. Put some ice in your cup. If you want to just drink water you've got options of 6 oz up to 24 oz. It is literally the perfect size for the countertop. It slides up underneath my cabinetry perfectly. And when there's no ice and water in it. It only weighs like I think 25 lb. So easy to move around. But the ice quality is amazing. I highly recommend you not use tap water. Use purified water. Comes out with perfectly clear nugget ice. And did I mention it has a cleaning feature? I recommend this product 100%. I will update you on the longevity of the product. But I have had this for almost 3 months now. And I have not regretted it. Yes it's expensive. But you get what you pay for. Update 10 months later the ice maker has quit working. with a loud grinding noise. and will not push out the ice. waste of money now.

Just wow wow wow wow! Five stars all the way…I will never see water the same way… I will never drink water the same way… Even the way this machine makes the small ice cubes improves the taste of the water… It has brought enjoyment into drinking water the same way I would enjoy drinking a cold latté or a cold, sweet beverage… And to top it all off… The app gives you just enough info to know what the machine is up to… It doesn’t overwhelm you with a bunch of alerts and notices like other apps… For all the things that it is able to do and for the large amount of water it can contain, the size of this device is just about right… I still cannot find anything negative about this product… One thing negative that I thought it had was that you cannot hook it up to your wire pipeline… But I just discovered yesterday that you actually can… So yes, this device is just perfection… Because at the end of the day, water is essential and what better yet to have a machine that improves the quality of your water consumption
