I looked for one of these for a long time, and they range in price from less than $100 to several thousands $$ for under cabinet ice makers. When I saw this one, I was drawn to a few things; the shape, I didn't want the “bullet”, the number of cubes made per drop (24 vs 9 for the bullet), the adjustability, cube thickness and time is adjustable depending on your needs, portability, easy to move around and price, it was less than $200 with an additional discount coupon on top! I have made ice a few times and it works exactly as described. I find that adding 3 minutes to the process makes cubes slightly thicker than the standard which I like. The size and shape is Perfect for all kinds of drinks and very similar to allot of restaurant ice. For the price (<$150 for me) I am thrilled with my decision. If you are on the “fence” GO FOR THIS ONE!

I recently purchased the Ecozy Countertop Ice Maker, and I have to say that I am really impressed with it. The cube-style ice it makes is great and, IMO, better than the bullet style. It is really quick at producing the ice; I can fill up the supplied bag in just over an hour. It is a bit loud, but that is to be expected as it has pumps and fans. The noise is not a deal-breaker for me, however. For the price, it is definitely a great buy, and I love not having to spend my money on ice at the store. I would definitely recommend it to anybody looking for a quick and easy way to make high-quality ice. Cheers

Received Sept. 2023. worked great until Nov. 7 when it would try to make ice, get so far along then emit a very loud screaming noise and would have to be shut off. Too late by a week to return. Maybe this one was a lemon, I don't know. I'll have to contact the customer service and see what they say. We love ice too much to be without so I'll try a different one, though it looks like all the manufacturer does is change labels. UPDATE: Ecozy customer service one of the best we’ve ever dealt with, no kidding. Very fast response and they sent a replacement immediately. I can’t say enough how nice it is to have someone like this. Thank you again!

We ordered this ice maker through Amazon. It was delivered dented and leaking oil all over the machine because it was shipped laying on its side. I emailed customer service and they responded quickly. They sent me a replacement direct from them. It arrived without any issues. I have used it for about 5 days and it definitely makes a lot of ice. I previously had a nugget ice machine that I absolutely loved but couldn’t keep it working so this replaced the nugget one. Pros: It makes a lot of ice and makes it pretty quickly. It isn’t too loud, when it dumps you know it but nothing too crazy. Cons: You don’t have to run it all day so I’m currently trying to figure out the best process of draining and drying during the day to keep it from getting too dirty. I am not sure how I feel about breaking the ice after it dumps and then having to transfer the ice to my freezer. It isn’t terrible, just an extra step I didn’t have to do with my old ice maker. The drain plug is also under the machine so you have to scoot it to the edge of the counter to drain. Again, not terrible but my old one had a drain in the back so I didn’t have to move it. That could also have something to do with why the other one broke constantly. Overall, it is working great. The storage bin isn’t designed to hold the ice long term so you do have to transfer to the freezer. If you don’t mind that, I would definitely recommend so far.

Amazing ice maker! I changed to this block ice maker from the bullet shaped ice maker and this one is FAR better. The noise is average but doesn’t bother me because it’s in a separate room. The ice is done quickly and is very solid. Highly recommend if you want ice for coolers or super cold drinks.

This ice machine is amazing! I have 3 machines and this one makes ice so much faster than the other two I have! I filled up two huge ice coolers in one day! Buy this one if you want a good, fast machine. The customer service is excellent as the first machine was a lemon and I received a new one that works great in 2 days! I wish all companies cared about their customers as much as Ecozy. You won’t be sorry!

So this may be a little confusing being that I rated the ice maker at 4 stars. My ice maker worked for maybe a couple days until it developed a loud screeching noise and it was too loud to use. At this point I knew it was a bad unit and reached out to customer support. This is where you could give it 10 stars. Sure the unit failed and it was disappointing, but their customer service was on top of it and willing to make things right immediately. I was shipped a new ice maker after sending them a video of the first one failing. They communicated with me daily and I couldn’t be happier with how things were handled. This is probably the best customer service I have received for any product on Amazon. The ice maker makes solid square ice cubes and I highly recommend it.

This product is just what we needed, as the ice maker in our fridge stopped working. I was tired of messing with ice trays, and decided to try countertop ice maker. This machine is awesome! It makes ice very quickly and efficiently, and the ice is a perfect size for our needs. The company has excellent customer service as well. I had an issue with the product, and I contacted the manufacturer. They responded promptly and resolved my issue quickly. They were nothing short of amazing! I would definitely recommend this product.
