I ordered the ECOWISH trench coat in black, and I absolutely love it. The plaid accents really stand out and add a stylish touch without being overwhelming. I initially assumed the plaid cuffs were sewn in place, so I was pleasantly surprised to discover they can be rolled down. I plan to wear them rolled up most of the time for a more casual look, but it’s nice to have the option to roll them down on extra chilly or rainy days, or anytime I want a more classic appearance. Another thoughtful design detail is the flap across the chest with its decorative button. It adds just the right amount of sophistication without making the coat feel too dressy. I was also pleasantly surprised by how soft the material feels, both inside and out. I ordered a size small, and it fit me perfectly. If you have a very petite frame, you may find it runs a bit large, but for me the fit was just right. The coat isn’t heavily insulated, making it ideal for cool, breezy, or rainy weather rather than freezing temperatures. Since I live in a tropical climate, this lightweight trench will be perfect for our mild winters. One of my favorite things about this coat is its versatility. It pairs beautifully with jeans, slacks, skirts, dresses, and even shorts. I was really disappointed with this trench coat. The material feels inexpensive, and the color looks much cheaper in person than it does in the listing photos. Overall, it doesn’t have the quality or polished look I was expecting. The fit also wasn’t flattering on me. It drapes awkwardly and has a baggy shape that doesn’t create the structured silhouette I typically look for in a trench coat. Because of that, it just didn’t look or feel right when I tried it on. I love the length of this trench! As a shorter person, this trench falls below my hips. It does take some extra styling to look flattering. I feel like I need to wear boots or something with a heel to balance out the length. It’s also lightweight so it’s perfect for layering, especially for fall when the weather is transitioning. The inner lining is a plaid pattern that spruces up the solid color of the jacket. I like to fold the sleeves slightly for the pattern to peek through.     • This is the jacket you need!
This baby is sweet! It's such a classy-looking trench coat and honestly looks and feels much more expensive than it is. The outer shell has a really nice feel and the plaid lining makes the inside look just as polished. Both sides have a surprisingly luxurious quality for a jacket at this price point. If you want to look put together on a rainy day without spending a fortune on a trench coat, this is a great option. The only thing I really wish it had is a belt. I've owned a rain trench before with a belt that could either be buckled or casually tied, and that little detail gave the coat a more tailored, finished shape. I think adding one here would elevate the look even more. That certainly isn't enough to keep me from wearing it, though. The coat looks great as it is, feels well made, and gives you that classic trench style without the classic trench price tag.
