I have had this scooter and took it with me camping. The scooter performed well on the packed gravel campsite. I more or less put the scooter to the test. I weigh about 175 lbs. the only things bad in my opinion is the scooter is built for people who have the use of both hands especially the right hand. I had a stroke a few years ago and lost almost all use of my right hand. I have adapted the use of the scooter controls, I can use the left control by pulling the control to go in reverse. I use my left thumb to push the control underneath the bar to go forward. I hope this helps and hope you can understand. ... show more

The company is horrible, customer support is non existent. Do not be fooled by them . Amazon actually had to intervene and help me get my money back. Horrible horrible company. Ecomobile tell your friends and loved ones buy from any other company.

    • Poor instruction manual

Still haven't used the scooter yet because instructions are less than perfect. Instructions state to remove battery cover after removing 5 screw knows. No problem. But instructions do not state that you will have to remove the seat first. Then instructions are not clear on how to remove seat in order to turn on master switch in battery compartment. It took 4 paramedics to figure out how to remove the seat (pull lever and seat at the same time). And then a main wire to the battery was pulled out. One of those push wire into spring loaded connector. Nice appearance, love the front and rear lights. Turn signal lights are a bonus. Had a great front basket with lid. All in all it appears to be well designed and well made. Really like the rear grab bar so that you can manually move the scooter around in tight spaces. Time will tell how dependable the scooter is. After my initial test ride the most noticeable thing is the lack of maneuverability. Difficult just to exit my apartment because I have to go backwards and forward so many times to make a 90° turn. ... show more
