    • Received a DOA battery, my money was refunded, but still cost me a lot of work

I ordered the 260ah battery. When it arrived I tested the open circuit voltage and it was only 0.7V I thought the bms had shut it down for either overcharge or too discharged. I have a couple of chargers for LiFePO4 batteries that are suppose to get the bms to allow connection to the cells all of them acted like no battery was connected at all. I charge it with a manual 12v battery charger for about an hour and was able to get it up to 9.2v but no further. If I had to guess the bms died and took the cells with it. DC house did respond quickly and refunded my money, but I had to cut out the mount for the 8d size battery I had welded into my rv and build a new mount for the golf cart batteries I bought instead since they are the best i could get locally before I leave on my camping trip tomorrow. [update] Since DC HOUSE refunded my money and told me to just recycle the battery I decided to perform an autopsy on the battery. I found one of the buss bars had broke away from the cell and another cell had ruptured and was leaking the electrolyte. I am raising my review to 4 stars since this looks like it was caused by being dropped during shipping not a manufacturing defect. it would have been 5 stars but the frame work holding the cells was too fragile a little better design and the battery would have survived. ... show more

For the price, the battery is worth every penny. It's built well and will surely last a long time. Furthermore it was easy to install into my solar panel system. I'm very happy with this battery. So much so that I bought two!

Its got a bit of weight to it and is about the length of 2 regular batteries. But thats to be expected considering its material and purpose. I love this battery. Powerful and long lasting. I use it to power my 110v items in my semi. I did call ECO-WORTHY and even they were so helpful and polite. Highly highly recommend this battery for your bank. ... show more

Living off the grid, it's important that if there's an issue with a product, that you receive immediate support. That is what happened with one of the 260 AH batteries I purchased failed. All I needed to do was take a picture of the battery showing the voltage, and they immediately sent a replacement battery. Nobody can guarantee that their product will be defect free, but when it happens, it's good to know that this company will stand behind their products and provide excellent customer service. ... show more

Ordered 2 battery's. One arrived perfect. One arrived late looking like it had been airdropped. In spite of the dents and scratches it seems to be working fine and the seller quickly gave me a price adjustment. I have them installed as the "house" battery for a Ram Promaster van conversion.

Did a couple capacity tests, which you should always do on large and expensive lifepo4 batteries, and they came back with atleast 255 Amp Hours. That's 98% of advertised capacity. I got it on super sale for like 560$. I call that a huge win.
