Features

  • [Mini Size & Light Weight] ECO-WORTHY 12V 100Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery's size is only 3/4 of other LiFePO4 battery, 2/3 of lead-acid battery, which makes it more convenient to carry. Variety of mounting directions, and no risk of leakage, make it safer to use. Most RV need two batteries at least, the compact size makes it easier to place and connect in the battery box.
  • [Up to 15000+ Cycles] ECO-WORTHY 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery can reach 3000~15000 deep cycles, which is equivalent to 6 lead-acid batteries.
  • [Replacement for Lead Acid Battery] Our 12V 100Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate battery has high energy density. It weighs 21.16 pounds, which is only 1/3 of lead-acid battery. Allowing for a longer RV driving range. Discharge of lead-acid battery below 50% will shorten battery life, while lithium battery will not.
  • [BMS Protection] Built-in BMS (Battery Management System) for: over-charging protection, over-discharging protection, high temperature protection, short-circuit protection, over-current protection. And keep the balance between cells.
  • [Multiple Applications] ECO-WORTHY 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 lithium batteries can be used for RV, 50~86 lbs trolling motor, camping, marine, backup power, solar home off-grid system, lighting, TV, electronic robots, speakers, coffee makers, air conditioners, refrigerators, heaters and so on. • 12V 100 AH ECO-WORTHY Review
Size: 12V 100Ah
This is a review of an ECO-WORTHY 12V 100AH LiFePO4 battery. Short report: The battery's initial performance is as specified. The company's service and technical support is exemplary. More details: The battery was delivered Aug 22, 2023 and put into service the nest day. This report is being written on Nov 21, 2023. Although we are off-grid solar, this battery was purchased to provide a power source for a 2 kW inverter (Harbor Freight) and various 12V pumps (Northern Tools) for our irrigation system. The inverter is used to power a small, portable air compressor, a sump pump (to transfer water between IBC totes) and a Worx electric leaf shredder. The battery is excellent for powering the pumps. It empties a 275 gallon tote many more times than the 100 AH AGM battery that it replaced. I did not make careful measurement of the AGM battery so a quantitative comparison is impossible at this point. With the ECO battery, it was necessary to add a pressure restriction for my over head sprinkler to function properly. This higher pressure was not an issue with the AGM battery. I have not had occasion to test the sump pump yet. The leaf shredder draws 8A at 120V which will be 80A at 12V. Harbor Freight claims their inverter is 80 - 90% efficient depending on load. Taking the lower number, this means the battery is being loaded to approximately 100A with surges when the shredder is heavily loaded. TO BE CLEAR, the ECO-WORTHY technical staff do not recommend loading the battery this way, as they expect it to shorten battery life. I am 78 years old and can only hope this limitation is significant for me. YMMV. How much usable power does this battery produce? I started with a fresh, fully charged battery charged with a LiFePO4 charger. Using the HF inverter, I connected a Kill-A-Watt meter to the inverter then the Worx shredder to the meter. The shredder pulled approximately 8A at 113-114V with no material entering the shredder. Under load, the current increased to approximately 10A with occasional spikes to approximately 12A. I ran the shredder until the inverter low voltage protection shut the inverter down. At this point, the Kill-A-Watt meter indicated 1.05 KWH had been produced. The battery measured 11.10V suggesting approximately 7 AH remaining charge. A 12V, 100 AH battery should produce 1.2KWH power. The side of the battery lists 12.8V, corresponding to 1.28 KWH. The specifications on the inverter are 90% efficiency at light load and 80% under heavy load. The Kill-A-Watt meter recorded 1.05 KWH after the current passed through the inverter. The actual battery capacity was calculated for 80%, 85% and 90% inverter efficiency and 12.0V and 12.8V nominal battery capacity: Meas KWH 1.05 Inverter Eff 90% 85% 80% 1.155 1.2075 1.26 Battery Volts 12V 96.3% 100.6% 105.0% 12.8V 90.2% 94.3% 98.4% The unaccounted power losses include the 1.5A Harbor Freight claims their inverter draws anytime it is on including the time I was reloading my cart. Since the inverter was heavily loaded when shredding, I think it is safe to assume overall losses were approximately 20%. My conclusion is the battery met its capacity specs within the limits of this measurement. ECO-Worthy has provided excellent customer service. The first time I used the battery to power the leaf shredder, I used a set of heavy duty clamps to attach the battery to the inverter. After an extended period of operation, the positive terminal softened the battery case resulting in the terminal settling. I contacted Eco-Worthy and informed them of the problem. Within 12 hours, I received an email requesting a photo. Within 12 hours of submitting that photo, I received a message informing me they would replace the battery and requesting more details about the circunstances. The re[placement battery arrived 9 days later. It was in transit for 7 of those days. Responding to their interest in the field performance of the battery, we have corresponded a number of times. These guys know what they are talking about and have demonstrated an interest in understanding how their product is used and a willingness to stand behind their product. Why did I buy this battery in the first place? There are three reasons: (1) It weighs 23 lbs, not the 65 lbs of an AGM battery. (2) This battery has a three year waranty compared to the one years of the AGM batteries on Amazon, (3) AGM batteries can be discharged to only 50% State of Charge (SOC.) The LiFePO4 batteries can be discharged to 20% or lower without affecting battery life. At current Amazon prices, the least expensive AGM battery is $3.20/usable AH whereas the ECO-Worthy is $3.50/ usable KWH. That is, the battery has 3x the warranty for a price difference < 10%. ... show more

  • Quality lightweight upgrade and afforadble
Size: 12V 100Ah
I purchased 4 of the Eco-worthy 12.8v 100ah solar batteries to upgrade from the 50ah batteries I'm running 4 100 v solar panels on the roof of my truck camper conversion with 2 actuators to adjust for the ideal angle of the sun. These batteries are great for the money compared to other brands, and I've read about issues with these in the review, and with my own personal experience, any issues that come up with these Eco-worthy systems DC HOUSE is right on it a d go way out of the way to ensure things are right. My only dislike is that they do shutdown between 75% and 80% as part of the battery protection system. There are other options of batteries that go longer but for the price I will choose Eco-worthy. Oliver and the crew at DC House are top notch with customer service. Pick ecoworthy! As a tip, when installing, keep your cable length to the ideal length, place somewhere where they can stay out of direct sunlight and if possible install a small fan to keep from excessive heat. They can be stacked in any position because they are completely sealed. And a warning lithium reacts with water. I mean they explode so make sure your batteries are securely stored and the external case is not compromised. Enjoy your power! :) ... show more

Light weight and holds a charge. That's what it's for. No it's not battle born but it does the same thing for 1/3 - 1/4 the price.

  • Great seller, great batteries
Size: 12V 100Ah 2 Pack
I bought the pair a couple of weeks ago and tested them over the past few days. One battery charged fine and discharged using a 20amp load. Recharged using a smart LiFePo4 charger at 15amps setting and it came up to 100% of capacity rating of 100amps. The second battery was charged and likewise discharged into a 20amp load. I recharged this one as well, but it only came up to 98% of capacity, not the full rated power of 100amps, just 98amps. I ran the test again, same problem but this time only came up to 95%. I contacted the seller via Amazon who replied within 24 hours. They verified my testing and honored a request for a replacement battery. The battery arrived and tests great. Seller is very easy to work with and really wants to ensure customers are pleased with their purchase. I could not have been more pleased with the result. Thanks! ... show more

  • Outage and melting electrode
Size: 12V 100Ah
The battery arrived in a nice package, and it’s way much lighter than lead acid battery. Everything looked great until its first use with the trolling motor. We put the battery in a battery box and then connected to the trolling motor for a crabbing trip. We set the motor for medium and full speed intermittently, the battery performed great until motor suddenly stopped working. We paddled back to shore to replace the battery, but then noticed the electrode pole was a melting (see the pic), almost created a hole there. We purchased the battery for its great review, feeling very frustrated … ... show more

  • Works as expected. Much lighter than the lead acid I replaced!
Size: 12V 100Ah
I bought this battery because it was lightweight and small enough to fit in a tight place in my RV. It charged up with my RV Lithium charger. If you have a WFCO RV charger, make sure it is ALWAYS in liFePO4 mode (blue) so it charges the battery properly. I ended up contacting WFCO for a jumper to resolve the issue as it wasn't switching to lithium mode automatically as it should have. UPDATE 12/13/23: I was contacted by the seller (DC HOUSE) offering me a full refund or replacement for this battery. They were very willing to work with me to resolve the issue. It wouldn't fully charge even though I tried 2 different lithium battery chargers (wf-8735-AD and a NOCO 1 amp which was too weak). I ordered a new charger 15 Amp and that one charged it to 100% and it held the charge as expected. After I installed the jumper on the WF-8735-ad charger it is now charging in my RV properly to 100%. ... show more
