Got these for my sauna. They look amazing. I had to order another strip to be able to go around the entire top. Easy to install. The lights are a little bright and there is a dimmer on the remote that does not work. We will see how it holds up with the heat. Will report back.

I bought these to put around some floating table runners I have made for my family and to sell. I got 1 of the warm white and 3 of the bright white. 1 of the bright white ones failed within 2 weeks but was promptly replaced. Adhesive is not fantastic when going around corners but otherwise stays on well. One set of batteries lasted about 3 weeks using the 6 hour timer everyday. I bought 2 of a different brand from a local big box store and they both failed so these are great. Would be nice if you could link them together if you needed a longer run with them bit otherwise they have been great. ... show more

For those who are struggling with the adhesive: all this is is double-sided tape. Peel back the non-sticky backing layer and you’ll find a sticky surface. It looks at first like you peel the entire strip off but you’re meant to remove only the blue layer. The white rubbery layer is adhesive on both sides. The problem here is that the sticky layer peels off of the LED strip too easily. I can’t imagine that the adhesive will last very long so be aware that someday it’s probably going to dry out and your lights will fall. General review: this is pretty neat. I’m using this to light the interior of a large scale model I’m working on and this is a really flexible and easy way to do so. The included remote is really handy as it has individual buttons for each light setting. The color of the LEDs is nice and warm, not at all that harsh blue-white “daylight” that many white LEDs use. There are 10 levels of brightness available via the included remote. I am not sure if the electronics box needs to be in line of sight to work, but I’m hoping it’s not too limiting in that regard since I want to bury this box inside a display stand. I find it strange that the “steady on” setting is the last of 8. Seems more logical to have that first…? Also interesting to note: not only can you sit this to length, but you can separate lengths with wire by soldering on the copper spots in the cut area. Just strip off the clear rubbery layer by the + and - symbols so the small copper connection areas are bare. ... show more

Got the lights to go under my fireplace mantle. They stick pretty well. That’s all I can say that’s good. The remote they came with worked about 30% of the time. I only turned them on to show my family the colors and how it looked under the mantle. Never had them in more than about 6-7 times over a months time. And only for a few mins at a time (we are remodeling our house, so we weren’t ready for them to be on for any length of time). They just stopped working. The remote stopped working first. Then the button on top stopped working. They take 4 AA batteries. I didn’t bother to change them because either way they’re junk. If they stopped working because they are junk, I had to toss them. If they stopped working due to the batteries running out, they wouldn’t last more than a day or two, and batteries aren’t cheap. So they got tossed. Not even worth trying to get my money back. I bought a plug in set, and they even work from an app on my phone. Much happier. Wish I hadn’t wasted the $13 though. ... show more

Bought two of these to supplement my bar and they work as expected. They are bright, easy to install, and a great addition to the bar. Each came with a remote and each remote works for both strands, so effectively have an extra one. Had an issue with one strand that stopped working, so contacted the seller. Bought these to hang on the ceiling of our camping tent and it worked amazing! It we very bright for night time lighting, it was great having a remote so we could turn them on and off from the warmth of our sleeping bags. We were out for 2 weeks and the batteries lasted no need to change them. We were able to easily take them down and store them for next time.
