The media could not be loaded. Each brush has a fair density, which allows you to apply bases, shadows, blushes and powders with a professional finish, they keep their shape very well after washing them, without losing bristles or deteriorating, I loved them

I just got these today so I haven’t lived with them for very long. If I need to amend this in any way to cover what I might see later, I will. For now I’m going to give you my initial impressions. These are very soft brushes and you get so many of them for such a good price. I don’t think there’s any makeup-related thing that you could have to do that there is not a brush for in this set. But having said that, as soon as you open it, if you have a remotely sensitive sense of smell, you will notice that it smells like gasoline, or turpentine, maybe spray paint, or packing tape as soon as you open it. You are going to need to wash all of this, case and brushes, before you can really live with it. I wouldn’t submerge the case. I’m going to make a mix of a gentle soap and water in a spray bottle and then spray it all including inside the brush pockets and rinse it and let it dry. The next problem is that they are willing to engrave the name of their product on the side of each brush but do not engrave the name of the type of brush into each brush. They include a little pamphlet that explains what each brush is for, which is great, but what happens if you try to wash these all and then they get mixed up and they are not in the order in which they came anymore, and you don’t have this committed to memory? It would really be helpful if they had something like 01 – large fan brush engraved into the side of the first brush and then that can be used to match each brush to what’s in the pamphlet until you learn it by heart. There are a lot of these brushes that are so close in size and appearance, I mean they’re very similar, and it takes a while to learn what they do. I feel like I now have to wash them just two or three brushes at a time, and wait for those to dry so they can be put back in order before I go onto the rest and that’s a long time. I’m sure it’ll be fine once I get past that hurdle but they could’ve so easily made this less labor-intensive. Even if you can’t smell the smell when it first comes, that may just mean that your sense of smell is less than sensitive than mine. Assume that these have chemicals on them that you will need to wash off. Don’t put them on your skin or anyone else’s without having done that.

Posting from my husbands account: BUY THIS BRUSH SET! I just received this set in the mail today and I am pleasantly surprised. At $1.10 a brush, my expectations were guarded. First, the brushes are made of incredibly soft synthetic fibers. Love the feel right off the bat. I examined each brush and tugged on the bristles to check for shedding. There was ZERO. The handle is a nice matte black with a gun metal (ish) ferel. The brushes are also all numbered which is great. I’ve used the set once to apply a full face of makeup. They blended powder products beautifully (I don’t use creams and use a BB for foundation). Just for the sake of it, I washed the eye shadow brushes I used with my Real Techniques brush cleanser. They were like new when I was done and there was still NO SHEDDING. If you’re like me (someone that loves makeup but doesn’t plan on doing it professionally) BUY THIS SET. It has everything you need for face, eyes, and even lips at a ridiculously fair price. Even the brush roll they come in is great quality considering the price, and it keeps everything organized and protected. (Pictured below is the set after I had used the brushes. You can still see bronzer and blush on two of the brushes I chose not to wash)
