Although some of the reviews on this page are for the 3rd generation Show 5, this review is only for the Show 5 stand being sold on this page. My review for the this Show 5 will be on the page for this product. The Show 5 is amazing, but without this stand it sits at the level you put it meaning that it faces forward. So, if you are viewing the Show 5 placed on a table or shelf that is above or below your viewing angle, it isn't going to be an optimum viewing angle that faces you. With this stand, you can adjust the screen of the Show 5 up or down so it can be viewed more comfortably. So, if you have the Show 5 on a counter, the screen won't be facing your waste. You can angle the screen up to view it from above. You can also angle the screen down if you need to. In addition, the magnet that holds the Show 5 to the stand is secure and will not disconnect unless you pull it off. Although the improved speakers on the 3rd generation Show 5 are great, you have the option of connecting external Bluetooth speakers if you like. This stand also includes a USB-C charging port that can be used to charge your phone or other devices that use a USB-C charging cable. If you buy this stand for the 3rd generation Show 5, it does not include the charging cable, but this cable is included with the Show 5. I have previous versions of the Show 5 and have stands for them. This stand is for the 3rd gen Show 5 only. Stands for previous versions will not fit this version of the Show 5. I hope this review was helpful for you in deciding whether or not you want this stand for the 3rd generation Show 5.

While a decent product, it was not the one I intended to buy, was looking for the 5. It performs just as well as the 5, just a smaller screen. Fortunately, I have no need to compensate so if it works as advertised, Im happy. At least I can watch videos and clips on it with barely any squinting, which is better then the echo dot without the screen.

Works well and fits Echo Show5 gen 3 perfectly. A groove in the base allows the display to snap into place so that it does not get loose no matter what the angle you set it at. The built-in connector makes plugging the Show in easy and prevents any loose and unsightly cables. In addition to holding the display at the most advantageous angel for viewing, I was able to adjust the angle precisely to get the perfect field of view for the built-in camera (I previously had to prop the display bottom up with various rubber bumpers to get it to the most optimum angle which was a real hassle and now I can easily adjust the angle very precisely). Works well but a little pricey for a little piece of plastic.

THE ECHO LOOKS AND FUNCTIONS BETTER IN THE STAND. IT SHOULD COME WITH IT AND NOT COST EXTRA. THE BLUE COLOR LOOKS GREAT WITH IT.
