These bars were a great fit on my 2016 Suburban LT. They were a bit tight to bolt in but we got it done. The best part, so far, is that the bars are quiet. I tested them out up to 75 mph and didn't hear any noise. The next step is to put a Thule or Yakima box on top and see if they lock tight in place. I don't want to be forced in to buying a different set of bars for the box I buy. ... show more

Installed on a 2019 Chevy Tahoe . The instructions were not good but it was easy to figure out. Small screws and small washers go in the top bar. Large screws and larger washers mount the brackets to the vehicle. Mine came with all parts and tools to assemble. Very sturdy aluminum, easy to install. Fit perfectly. I tool my time installing these and it was about a half hour to install. For the money and quality, I am not sure you can beat it. ... show more

Buyers remorse on this purchase. The hardware, specifically the allen head bolts, are so cheap they strip out easily and not one of my MAC Allen wrenches fit this odd size. The supplied tool started to strip out so I don't feel they were tight enough. I'm probably going to order some new hardware from McMaster Carr and replace this inferior junk. Second issue, noise on the highway today was 💯 noticable and I've never had that issue with OEM cross rails. Mad I went cheap and threw out the boxes ... show more

We bought this rack for trips with our yakima rack and it fits perfectly. I wouldn't have chosen an off brand of mounting system but this one seems to hold up even with the weight. There's an adjustment side that lets you adjust the tension on the crossbar so it fits perfectly. I recommend this to anyone who want to use it for traveling or connecting anything with weight. ... show more

    • Lost a raft thanks to one of these bars snapping.
These did ok with my Yakima cargo box on a couple trips. First time I tied the raft to them, they snapped under the force of the wind, and sent my raft onto the highway. Maybe if you are going to only use them for something that doesn't generate that much resistance or force, go for it. If you are going to do anything that could really catch some wind (like a raft, kayak, SUP board), just spend the money on Yakima or Thule. ... show more
