    • Spend a little more for a better set.
Should have listened to the other reviews and spent a bit more money to get a better set. Everyone was right about the base seals not fitting properly. I have to add a lot of silicone to seal them. The actual front bases did not fit so I had to modify them to actually fit into the spots. And talk about noise... which is not from me modifying the front pieces. I would have to turn the radio up past halfway to drown out the whistling noise from the racks. ... show more

    • It's better than nothing I guess
The product design is poor. The instructions are useless. There is a hum from the wind over 20 mph. The unit could break if you put a bit too much weight on it. The rubber pieces fit poorly.

Like other comments, the rubber seals have to be custom made to fit. That’s easy to modify. The installation was easy enough. I recommend it. It’s definitely sturdy with my 2 kayaks!

    • Bad fit and finish but might be functional does not look good.
You get what what you pay for. The good: item appears to be sturdy and screw holes line up. The bad: no instructions, and no response or help, the plastic/rubber seals that should make it appear flush and seal from rain ,debris, and snow do not fit and stick out making the racks look as if not designed for your car. If you want it to look nice fit properly and protect where it fastens on then I do not recommend this. ... show more

    • Sturdy like an old ox. 7/10 pretty decent.
Well look at that. It fits like it was made to fit an 05 Honda Element. No signs of rust yet. Sturdy enough for 2 kayaks. Great for hauling around annoying kids that need some fresh air. Does cause minor wind noise but nothing that turning up the radio can’t fix.
