I Have a 1000 Watt hub motor that is on my Kent Bayside Bike. Have been pulling a DIY trailer with 2 5 gallon water jugs and 24 case of cola and groceries and the added weight, made the motor twist a little and slip down the frame. Each time I mounted it! ( cause the bumps slide the cargo around ) This fixed my problem.. The allen bolts are to small, but I have some that are the right size, laying around.. Will buy again for my new build! I have a Freesky Himalaya and started having issues several months ago with the rear axle coming off the dropouts. I spend in excess of $800 on 2 new Bafang hub drive units. The first unit came off and the wiring harness got damaged and the unit wouldn’t work. Same issue happened with the second one purchased and I noticed my dropouts were stripped. When steel meets aluminum eventually steel will win. This product has worked flawlessly for me and the bike is better than ever. I recommend anyone who has a similar issue to what I had to purchase these torque arms. It will save you a lot of money and aggravation in the long run! ... show more

Seems like it's well made, just not universal enough. I probably could have looked harder at my specs though so still four stars. I just thought universal meant universal.

    • Saved the bike, dropouts rounded out
The Luckeep X1 ebike axle shredded the dropout and spun the cable around the axle, cutting it pretty bad. I wasn't sure if the holes would line up on this torque arm, but I was willing to drill a hole to fix it in place. It lined up, and works perfectly! I wonder if there is a standard placement for that hole, or if I was just lucky. I really don't understand how those other ones with the linkage and hose clamp would work long term, just too much play! ... show more

It's a great idea to help support the axel torque on ebikes, but it didn't fit over the motor power plug on 750 watt motor so it was installed on one side only. non power connector side. sold in pairs so the other went on the another bike the same way a 500 watt motor with a smaller plug it might have fit over the plug. ... show more
