When we bought our home the fire place was filled with ash and once I got it vacuumed out I could see a rusted out and corroded log lighter and also a broken full gas log insert. This is awesome! Got real tired of those cast iron log lighters that had to be replaced every other year. I had a friend that made me one out of stainless that lasted 20+ years. He's long since retired and moved out of state. With a life time warrantee you can't go wrong.
