Any parent with a child learning an instrument knows the struggle. Nobody really wants to hear it, but you encourage the noise-making until it sounds like music. This mute has been a lifesaver! It’s the perfect fit and even when in the same room the screeching is so much easier to bear. Highly recommended!!!

Perfect for indoor practice. It fits the bell of my trumpet perfectly and fits snug. It also fits in my trumpet case for easy transportation! Highly recommend!!!

This mute does dampen the sound of the trumpet but it doesn't bring it down enough to let's say practice in an apartment. I had higher expectations but I usually do and this mute didn't meet them. The mute did do what it said it would do just not as soft as I was wanting. I found that two socks did what I needed. I still use this mute a lot but I use the socks when I need my trumpet to be much softer and quieter. It's still a good product.

I thought buying this mute would actually help. Seems like poor quality and did nothing more than turn a trumpet into a kazoo, lol. I don’t mind the noise from the trumpet just wanted to see if this would help with practicing at home.
