For the most part, I had no trouble with this set. I had one bolt that did not want to go in (on a chair leg) - I thought it might be stripped. I looked up the manufacturer and they quickly replied and were willing to send me a new chair leg, but a friend of mine (who is very strong and more knowledgeable than me about putting things together) used his strength to force the bolt to go in. All manufacturing processes have occasional errors. If the other bolts had not all gone in seamlessly, the one that didn't probably would not have stood out. I appreciated the manufacturer's willingness to be proactive. If you have a problem putting it together, I suggest you search for the manufacturer to talk with them directly. There is only so much that Amazon can do. The set is beautiful and works very well in my small apartment. ... show more

We like that the table is sturdy, our last table was very flimsy. The chairs are sturdy, comfortable, nicely padded and the upholstery is very nice. The only downside to the table and chairs is the color. It is more yellow than it appears on the website. We are getting use to it since we like everything else about it. ... show more

Great table. Sturdy. Very nice finish. Small but exactly what I needed. Chairs are comfortable. 4 stars bc of how it shipped. The box was terrible condition. I was Concerned about any damages. Luckily there was none on the table. One chair has a small but noticeable dent/scratch. Not sure if it was just the delivery guy or what, but I’ve definitely had better experiences with deliveries. ... show more

    • Missing screw in leaf hinge, and stripped other screw of same hinge.

The product looks nice as a hole. It's smaller than I expected, and that's fine. Careful with this product. The issue with this was that it was missing a screw from the hinge within the leaf of the table, the portion that folds together, then goes down. This isn't a piece that comes separately and you put it together with the rest of the table, this is part of the portion that's supposed to be assembled. I noticed the issue because it wouldn't fold flush, then the other one, on the same side of the same hinge was stripped in the wood itself. By that point, it was all together and it would have been too difficult to return because the box is not an easy put back together box, especially if you put the chairs together first. I wouldn't recommend this product. For the fact that it came damaged and incomplete, for the price paid, it would have been a better product to get from a yard sale. I really wanted to return it. ... show more
