This thing cools
I wish I had this when I had my 14900. With the fans that come from the factory this thing pumps out some cooling. Even removing those fans for the MSI 120EZ to have them all look the same this thing still pumps out some cooling. I wish you could buy the fans it comes with stand alone, those fans are beasts. The screen on it is pretty cool. I have about 1 in 5 times when I start my computer up the screen stays the ROG logo instead of my custom screens. To get my custom screens I have to open Armoury Crate and navigate to the Ryojin to have it start showing. I have a feeling this is a conflict with MSI center and not an issue with the cooler. I really wish the hoses were 50mm longer like the Corsair Titan hoses are. In the Corsair Air 5400 case they are just about too short. When the pump is at 100% speed the thing can actually vibrate my desk. I mean, it rarely ever has to go that high but when it does, you know it. Of note though, when looking at pump speed in Armoury Crate it appears defaults max speed it 60% and same with the VRM fan, capped lower speed for some reason. For the screen I wish there were more temperatures that it could monitor. With my 7800x3d it can only track package temp which can lag a bit from the temp shown on my motherboard.

Cooler Envy Starts Here
“Finally, a cooler that’s overkill... in the best way.” I’ve built dozens of rigs over the years, and rarely do I find a product that feels both futuristic and practical—but the ROG Ryujin III 360 ARGB Extreme White manages to be both. Out of the box, the packaging feels premium. The hardware speaks for itself—clean lines, gorgeous all-white finish, and a display that’s actually functional. It doesn’t just look cool; it keeps your system cool. I’m running a Ryzen 9 9950X3D, and the VRM fan makes a real difference, shaving 5–7°C off motherboard temps compared to my previous 360mm AIO. Noise-wise, this cooler is impressively quiet. Even under load, the fan noise is a soft, steady whoosh—not a high-pitched whine. During everyday use, it’s barely noticeable, even when airflow ramps up for heavy workloads. My only regret? I played it safe with the 360mm version. In hindsight, I wish I had gone for the 420—the added surface area would have provided even more headroom for an already powerful setup. That said, the 360 delivers. Also: massive props to ASUS for the magnetic daisy-chained fan setup. It makes cable management an actual joy. If you want a cooler that performs, looks incredible, and makes you feel like you’re building five years into the future, this is it.

Incredible cooler
Probably one of my happiest purchases recently. I love the screen on the cooler due to the fact you can upload a gif, find a gif, and can choose what you want to display on it. For me, I love knowing my GPU and CPU temperatures, especially while gaming. It’s very easy to connect, install and setup. The fact that the fans are magnetic and connect that way for the aRGB, and to be powered is incredible. Highly recommend this beautiful beast.

One star, really? Yes, not the hardware, the AWFUL software!
One star, really? Installed the cooler really easily. For a cooler of this cost, I would have hoped for a slightly better manual, but it was all there. My issue is the dreadful software that ASUS makes you use to configure this cooler. You have two chooses. 1/ AIDA64 Extreme. This is so over the top for configuring a cooler but it's one of the only two ways to get the display to work. The main issue with this piece of software is that it is only free for one year, then it costs you, and it's not cheap. The standalone AIDA64 Extreme software is not made by ASUS—it is developed by FinalWire and normally costs $65.95 for a 3-PC home license. 2/ ASUS's own Armoury Crate. Probably the worst designed and written piece of bloatware from a MotherBoard manufacturer, and I do expect a lot better from ASUS. I loaded it (it took three times to get it working) very hesitantly and tried to configure the cooler. Most of the time I thought that the software had frozen. It also takes forever to load. In conclusion. The cooler itself seems to be working okay, and setting things up in BIOS still works, so the system is staying cool. But after spending this much money on the cooler, ASUS really should have put together a simple piece of software to "just" configure the cooler for it's display, fan/pump settings. In closing, I tried 5 or 6 times to register the cooler and ASUS refused to understand it's own seriel number, all I ever saw was a mewessage, "Field Empty", which I can assure you, it was not!
