Sturdy table and chairs. It does take some effort to get everything tight enough but once you do it is rock solid. Color of table is true to pictures, the cushions are cream with a bit of gold tint. Very pretty and very comfortable. Would recommend!

It is straightforward and easy to assemble, the fit and finish are good, and it looks great in the space we have. Table is nice - looks good but after one year that table leg wood cracked and the leg screw keeps coming loose because of it. Then after a little over 1 and 1/2 years one of the table legs wooden inserts is loose and now I have a permanently severely wobbling table. Plus, good luck contacting the company. I could not. When I first opened the package, I was very pleased and impressed with the quality of the wood finish and the cushion covers. It was in pieces, but was actually quite easy to assemble. I am a 67 year old female and it was easy for me to put together, so no worries for anyone. I was extremely happy with the size, etc and it fit perfect in the kitchen eat in area. After a week, one of the chairs broke underneath where the wood piece meets the screw. It was one chair a week to break and now I have to buy new chairs. There was no extra heavy people or abuse to the chairs. The wood is probably too soft or not thick enough to handle the weight. I do like the table and will keep that, but so disappointed I cannot use the chairs. Buy this at your own risk. ... show more

This set is perfect for a small kitchen and when I need some additional work area I just open the leaf. I am a senior woman and I had no problem assembling the table and chairs myself. The instructions were very clear and if you follow them you will have no problem.
