It's beautiful and very sturdy. It's smaller than I expected but that is my own fault for not paying attention to the measurements. I managed to put it together in about 3 hours but that's because I had a four year old helper. I really like it.

Great for the price paid. It’s solid and heavy, assembly was a breeze and everything seems sturdy. It’s a perfect table for me as I can get all my kids around it and have a nice meal. It will scratch easy and already has some scuffs...but that’s not a big deal to me as it gets used and will end up looking a bit “shabby chic” I imagine. ... show more

Highly recommend. Assembling the table and six chairs took less than two hours. Directions are easy to follow. My only suggestion would be to replace the allen wrench with a more user friendly screw driver. The quality hardware makes for sturdy furniture. There was a 1.5" scratch on one chair seat (see pic). The damage likely occurred in transit in spite of what appears to be well designed packaging. ... show more

Buying a dining set from amazon was something I never thought was a good idea, but it is better quality and so affordable, we shopped at several furniture stores and either they were cheap or so expensive. Only problem is the shipping experience, that was horrible, carrier never delivered on set time or date, then I had to call them to reschedule, they came on right day but not time.
