    • For an electric snow thrower it’s great!
I gave this 5 stars because I knew what I was purchasing, an electric, corded snow thrower. Having said that you must not expect it to work like a gasoline snow blower,( which I’ve also owned in the past). I purchased this for our vacation home, which we are hardly ever in during the winter months. This is a great option because I do not have to worry about it not starting after years of storage, like a gasoline version. It handled 5-6” of very light powered snow with no issues, however, as I got closer to the end of my driveway, near the street, the compacted snow pushed in by the snow plows was to much for this to Handel. But my son was able to knock it down for me into 2-3” and I was able to remove the rest of the snow. 5 Important things to point out; 1.It’s very easy to assemble, no tools necessary, just a few screw knobs to prop up the handles, (like a lawn mower) 2.it’s light enough to carry up on a deck to clear snow. 3. It’s amperage is just under 15amps so any outlet around the house should be able to handle it without tripping a circuit breaker. 4.It has a 22” wide intake, which is a good size to clear a single path. 5. Assembly would have been easier except a preassembled part was on backwards. Was able to correct myself. Have used the snow thrower a few times now. CON: 1. Does not perform well if more than a few inches. 2. does not consistently throw the snow the same distance. 3. does not get down to the surface, leaves 1/4" of snow. PRO: The corded version is powerful and It removes enough snow to clear an area and I don't have to lift shovels full of heavy snow. ... show more

    • Bought two and both did not work. But got replacement
Bought two in April 2020, tried to clean snow first time in December, but both did not work. Motor is making sound but the blades are not rotating. UPDATE: Customer service was excellent, replaced both of them.

Bought it after our last heavy snow, haven't had another snow to test how well it clears my driveway.

    • Doesn't work as described
Used this electric snow shovel twice. Both times the belt fell off as you started. Snow only 3" deep. Save your money. Should have sent it back the first time in December.

This is not a substitute for a real snow blower. Yes it's light. But that's not a good thing with a snow blower. Being light means this tries to climb up on the snow instead of cut through it. The drive belt slips off while in use. Meaning you have to disassemble the thing in the cold and try to stretch a cold-hardened rubber belt across two rings. There is no tensioner to release or tighten the belt. You have to get it back on at full spacing. ... show more

We got 24 inches of wet heavy snow last week, on top of the 12 inches we got 7 days before that. I bought this product to clean off my roof of my house. I was super skeptical, but I thought what the heck for the price. I really gave it a work out. I didn't baby this machine at all! I was actually hard on it, and was really expecting it to break or seize up. Not only did it hold up, it never ever once stopped moving snow! No matter how hard I shoved it into the snow back! I am super impressed with this snow thrower! And I will buy more products from this company! Really worth the money! ... show more

I bought this snow blower this year as the snow was too much for me to even get to my car. I used a snow shovel (that I also had to buy at the same time) to clear the immediate area in front of my door, so that I could get the machine in an area to start clearing. It is an electric machine because I can never start a PULL START machine. I was able to assemble the machine without difficulty and only took less than an hour. Mind you I am a female and age 69. I highly recommend this machine. I only needed to use it three times this year but I was EXTREMELY HAPPY with the ability to be able to use it and clear my walkway and driveway. ... show more
