Features

  • ROUGH & TOUGH: The Acreage can clear tall grass, thick brush and saplings up to 3" thick in a single 44 wide pass. Two pivoting break-away blades are designed to tackle the tough stuff, but swing out of the way when encountering rocks or stumps, protecting the blades and drive system.
  • ADJUSTABLE OFFSET MOWING: Fully offset the mower behind the tow vehicle up to 4 in either direction for mowing trails or ditch slopes, and under tree limbs. Tool-less cutting height adjustment allows for changing the cutting height on the fly from 3.5" to 7.5".
  • TRUSTED POWER: Maintain overgrown properties with an always reliable 17.5hp Briggs & Stratton engine. Its Advanced Debris Management System keeps the engine clean by deflecting and ejecting grass and debris, making for a longer engine life.
  • ELECTRIC START: Engine features a keyed electric start with included battery, providing quick, reliable ignition without the need for manual pull-starting.
  • EASY TO OPERATE: Engage the blades with a simple pull of a lever and disengage from the convenience of your seat by pulling on the included rope.
  • HEAVY-DUTY: A rugged, extra-thick 11-gauge steel deck is built to last. Front and rear chain guards help manage debris, and steel wheel bumpers prevent mower from getting caught and hung up on trees.
  • BALL COUPLER HITCH: The 2" ball coupler hitch is mounted on an adjustable tongue offering 10 hitch height positions for flexible tow vehicle hookup and provides smoother towing with less jerking and rattling than pin-style hitches. Tongue assembly can be easily removed for a smaller storage footprint.
  • SHIPPING: Steel crate shipping dimensions (64x 66x 32 / 768 lbs), Pickup requires fork extensions and a trailer with removable sides (will not fit in truck bed or small trailer)
  • GUARANTEE: Backed by an industry leading 5-Year Limited Product Warranty and 2-Year Limited Engine Warranty and a U.S.-based customer support team, the Acreage Rough Cut Mower will perform for years to come.

It cuts a path 44” wide through tall grass, thick weeds or brush, and will take down saplings up to 3" thick, making it ideal for clearing trails, food plots, or overgrown fields. Powered by an electric start (battery included), 17.5 hp Briggs & Stratton® engine that features an Advanced Debris Management System to help keep the engine clean by deflecting and ejecting grass and debris, making for a longer engine life. The heavy-duty 11-gauge steel deck is built to last, and its dual breakaway blades will pivot when they hit something solid, like a rock or stump, helping to reduce damage and keep you moving. • Happy with my purchase
Honestly better than I expected. I bought this to clear shooting lanes and food plots. 6 to 8 foot pines, briars, brush, pretty much everything - this cutter just went through it! First trip out, hopefully this thing keeps impressing me

  • Built Like a Tank Except for the Tonka-Quality Tires/Wheels
Beast of a machine that will essentially cut down anything you can get under it. -2stars due to the absurd valve-stem seal issues it has. While the actual machine is built like a tank, the tires have a habit of... going completely flat due to leaks at the base of the valve stem. Happened with the left tire after just a few uses... submitted a warranty claim, got lectured on checking tire pressure before each use (I did every time), got told it wouldn't be covered again. Got the new tire installed and... after the NEXT use, the right tire had the same exact issue: slow leak from where the valve stem (these are tubeless tires) exits the wheel. Was able to quick-patch it with Fix-A-Flat... no idea how long it will hold, and yes, I know that will degrade the rim eventually if I don't clean it out relatively soon. Plan to have the tires foam-filled when I have the time, which will likely cost $100-150. TBPH, these SHOULD COME WITH FOAM FILLED TIRES, not tubeless tires with valve stems that will break their seal with the rim if you look at them wrong. If this is NOT a common issue, then I don't see why they would refuse to replace my OTHER faulty tire, as obviously these wheels were defective. If it IS a common issue, it should have different tires. Don't get me wrong: the actual brush hogging is great. But I mean c'mon, Ardisam. This thing costs $3700 after tax. It should not have this problem. Would be 5 stars If I hadn't gotten 2 flats within 5 uses. ... show more

  • Just what the pasture needed!
Arrived ahead of schedule in a very secure steel crate. Easy assembly for anyone somewhat mechanically inclined. Performed as expected, very happy with the quality and operation.

  • Be aware of lack of part availability.
Ok, the good, this thing is a beast, I bought a property that had over grown for the last 25 years. Lots of wooded acres that were originally fields. Cypress trees, blackberry brambles etc. this thing ate it all, want a trail built, this will do it. I have a cf moto xl pro, if it can knock it down, this thing eats it. Mowed weeds i could not see over in the cab, ate it all, sapplings, trees. does not care. As i said,a beast. The bad, pulling through dense brush, the oil dip stick popped out and blew out the oil. it stayed on the deck, filled oil, good to go. This thing is build for brush, stuff should not pop off. next the fuel rollover valve/fuel vent disappeared in more brush. this is more of a problem, part out of stock and does not appear as if it will be stocked anytime soon. Hence 3 stars instead of 5. That may change if i can get the part, otherwise, $3500.00 boat anchor. Ill figure it out but still. ... show more

  • Need customer service
Need someone to contact me. I want the model with the remote engagement not the manual engagement. I contacted corporate manufacturer but they can't find this order.

  • Durable and will cut just about anything you need.
This machine is a beast. Cut down even thick brush. It's easy to change position to left or right. For as much land as I have, this is the perfect size and easy to store.
