I could tell that this face cradle was firm. When I click it in place it stays put which is really important as the previous one I had started coming loose from normal wear and tear. I massage with confidence and no worries.

I've had two, from other companies, where the lock mechanism has broken shortly after purchase. So far, this one has held up. Not giving it 5 stars yet....it has to last at least 2 years for that. I wish manufacturers would not make decent products that break because of a 1-cent part that they skimp on. It just causes massive waste of natural resources. So I've had this for a little over a month...it hasn't broken yet. ... show more

Seems sturdy and reliable (no glitches when weight is applied). I do wish I could find a single-jointed face cradle that raised a bit higher. Some of my barrel-chested clients need more height.

I've had my Earthlite massage table over 14 years, the face cradle recently became more difficult to adjust. It was sticking. I bought a new one, and true to Earthlite quality, it's working beautifully.

    • Ok but if you can spare a little more $, go with a better quality one
After a client pushed himself up to turn over putting his weight on my Oakworks One original face cradle (he weighed over 400lbs) and stripping the gears which resulted in it giving forward a couple of notches under the weight of clients heads after that, I tried this one since another Oakworks cradle was $30 more. This one gets the job done but it isn’t as adjustable and it’s soft plastic so it’s already stripping out after not much use at all. I wish I’d just spent a little more and bought the Oakworks cradle since I’m already having to plan to replace this one again soon. My Oakworks face cradle last 10 years, this one won’t make it a year. ... show more
