  • Love it!
Love it! Takes a minute to set everything according to your exact preference but once you do, it’s a dream! Ive had mine for almost 4 months and I can’t live without it. I especially love that I’m not bound to any ecosystem. And! I can write in my PDFs with my stylus (can only do notes without one). Love the buttons, love the size, love the customization- love love love it. Wish it had better battery life but it’s still really good. Have to charge every 3-4 days w all day use, but it’s fine. Charges super fast and you can use it while it’s charging, tho I’ve never done that. Anyhow, I recommend it! 10 out of 10. ... show more

  • Not good
Wanted to like the Boox. It's really nice quality and easy to hold. But it constantly freezes up and randomly reboots on its own in the middle of reading a book. So it's being returned.

  • Nice eReader with android OS
I started with a boox leaf2 and mostly hated it. It was the perfect size and weight with a crisp clear screen but it was so slow that I never wanted to use it. It would also randomly switch back to the home screen for no reason and lock up or close an app as I was reading. I upgraded to the Go 7 color and am very happy. I mostly read novels so I could have gone with black and white but I like the colors. They are muted but I didn't expect bright vivid tones. It's not as fast as a typical tablet but that is the nature of eink. I can read it outside with no glare, which is why I wanted it. It is the same size and weight as the the leaf2 so it's the perfect size to hold with one hand. The buttons work to turn pages on most apps, but I can't get them to work on the kindle app. I don't like that it didn't come with a case or a stylus or that it takes a specific stylus which is currently out of stock and there's no information on when it will be available. I am interested in taking notes but until they bring back the stylus I can't try that. Google play comes installed, a definite upgrade from having to install it on the leaf2. Kindle, libby, audible, libro.fm, bookshop.Org, everand and play books all installed and worked correctly immediately. ... show more

  • Poor writing, great ereader
I have to review this if it were two different devices. First as a note taker, and something you can write on. It is unusable for this purpose. If you are considering this device for that use case, find something else. It was the main reason I purchased this, so I am disappointed. As an ereader, its great. If you are looking for a ereader that is a bit more flexible then the average, you will like this one. ... show more

  • It’s great!
Really nice e reader! It works great and the battery life is amazing I’ve used it for a little over a month and I haven’t had to charge it. The size is also nice not too big it’s perfect and fits great in any purse or bag.

  • Un lector versátil y muy cómodo para leer y transportar
Excelente producto. Muy liviana y rápida. Hay que trabajar en la configuración inicial, pero eso ya lo sabía al momento de comprarla. Muy recomendable

  • Great little android book reader with minor quirks
This is a very capable android book reader. I love being able to use android reading apps that aren't just Kindle. I especially use Logos Bible App and obsidian for notes. Perfect. Coming from a tablet, the battery is great. It does take some customization and fiddling to get settings to work right, like: scroll/page turn, refresh rates, etc. But I'm the kind of person who likes that customized experience. Also, I'm not a fan of the user interface, but it is servicable. The one thing that I truly don't like is that I can't keep 2 apps 'in memory' so that I can quickly switch between them. There is a "lock" button on the task switcher, which I assumed would keep the locked apps in memory. But it doesn't work well...only very rarely it works. Otherwise, each time I switch to a different app, it has to completely reload, and the other app I want open fully clears from memory. Maybe it's a bug. Anyway, all in all, depending on use case, this is a great product. ... show more
